Skills Question

Post by Euler »

Um I'm not sure I understand what you mean, basically the reason I asked was because I have tried out a few dirfferent "Craftmaking Skills."  Including goldmithing, lumberjacking, tailoring, but when I tried carpentry it didn't show up on my skill list.  I was curious if there was a limit on the number of skill a person could learn, excluding the Druid/Magic inablility.

Thanks,
Euler

There is no limit of skills yet. At the moment you can learn whatever you want.

It didn't show up because you have to do it when someone who is good in that skill is watching. Then it'll show up and you can start getting better.

You have to do it when someone who is good in that skill is watching? I'm afraid this is nonsense, but I'm not totally sure.

@Euler: You may have to do it a few more times before the skills shows up. Also I think it does not increase when you fail to make something, so maybe you didn't see anything yet because you didn't succeed in making an item yet. Either way, just keep using that skill and you should start to see it eventually.
