Depot problem, scrolling through the depot

Post by Kevin Lightdot »

I've opened my depot, and uppon pressing the arrows to scroll through the depot, nothing happens.

Then a few minuites later it all shifts up realy fast to the point where i wanted it to go, but it took about 5 minuites.

I'm tried closing and opening the client again and that's not it.

And it seems to wait a while for any other commands to (speaking, equipping) But not aslong as the depot scrolling.

Err...THose buttons do nothing. You must use your scrollwheel. Everything you need to know is in the manual. :)

Oh... Then who put those buttons there? 0.0

I guess i should download that manual...

On another note, i cant seem to use the old name and map files either, i chose the character directory in C:/.../Illarion/Kevin Lightdot (wich is where my old char info still is.)

Copy your old character folder into the new client folder, replace the one there if necessary.

The buttons do have a function. Click and hold the mouse on them and drag left and right to scroll through a container.

I have the old data, but the old name files are in DAT format and the new one is in TBL format and they both show completely differantly.
And i dont remember there being two files that hold the names.
I'll try some things.
I think i've solved it but i dont feel like playing right now to make sure.

Delete the new, replace with the old, if the old is already there, just delete the new. It automatically converts it if theres no other name files besides that one.

First of all: Read the manual! This is what it says on the matter:
The inventory can only display a certain amount of items in a container simultaneously.
You can scroll to the left or to the right; this is done by placing your mouse cursor over the
corresponding inventory field and use the mouse wheel, or by clicking the arrow buttons
and dragging the mouse.
