Ok, I'm proud to introduce a new system into the Rangers that will help with many different problems. This "Authority system" has been created by the High Council for two reasons.
First it will give the members a chance to help in the growth and change of the Rangers. For example if I were to come up with a great idea that needed to be voted on only the High Council would be able to vote on it. Now everyone has that ablity. As an example of this, if there were a two to one vote made by the H.C. the two people would win and that would be the end of that. Not any more! Say that each H.C. members had an "Authority" of 40. The vote about would be 80 to 40, but what if two members both with an "Authority" of 22 vote with the one H.C. member. The vote would then be 84 to 80 and the one H.C. member would win the vote. That concludes the first part of the "Authority system".
The Second part of this decides control. For example, if all three H.C. members were away at some time then the person/people with the highest "Authority" would become the temporary leader(s) of the Rangers. This also gives control to a member if a bad situation arises when no H.C. member were around to take charge. However this DOES NOT give the right for a person with a higher "Authority" to boss around a person with a lower "Authority".
"Authority" is decided by a persons rank(s) achieved in the Rangers, like Novice Ranger and Elite Ranger. Here is the break down of what the ranks are worth.
Member 2
Novice Ranger 3
Experienced Ranger 4
Master Mage 5
Master Archer 5
Master Warrior 5
Elite Ranger 7
Grand Master Ranger 10 -1 for every time failed to a min. of 5
You call also get +1 "Authority" bonus if you do something very good for the Rangers like donate lots of money to the fund. Aslo note that you can pass all three Master xxxx tests for more points.
I will now list the Authority of each and every member in the Rangers.
Korwin 40
Inioch Hope 40
Astral 40
Fathe Boron 2+1=3
Erdrick 2
Malgallad 9+1=10
Fulige Harifoot 21
Bojo 2
Timothius 9
Galapagos 21
Peilten 2
Roke 9
Fawke 2
Goldmoon 2
Tisiphone 21
Rosetta 5+1=6
Safun 2
Alamar 2+1=3
That is all, if you have any comments or concerns, please post them here. If you believe that you should recieve a bonus point for something that you have done, please let us know as well. Thank you for your support.

New Authority System for The Rangers
Remember, you can increase your authority by donating ingots to the ranger fund...

Looks like I will have to do some tests to get some more authority. I have some questions as follows:
1) I notice the maximum points you can have is 41 without donating ingots. Does that mean each of you failed the top quest once?
2) How many ingots do you have to do to get points
3) Would recruting a member get any more points (is there another way other than donating and taking tests/quests to get more points).
I think this is a great idea, all though at first I was against it. Good Job!

Ok Roke here is what you need to know.
1) No, the rank of a High Council member is not achieved by taking test, but rather from being a High Council member and founder. A non-founder High Council member would have a rank of 35.
2) We thought that around 25 - 50 ingots would be a sufficient contribution to recieve a bonus point.
3) We are not sure, we may do something like the Magic Academy, so if a recruited member gets to a certain rank, the recruiter would recieve a bonus. There are many ways to get a bonus, just anything that really helps the Rangers will do.
I would also like to add that to be eligable for High Council, you must have an "Authority" above 30, although this does NOT mean that you will get in.
We are also working on a new Master Druid quest so that druids have equal opportunity to get "Authority".

I think that this is what the Rangers need to bring order to the guild. It is a great idea (seeing as how I first proposed it
). It will also give people a bit of a reason to take some more quests. I am glad to see that we have the support of some of our members. Thanks to all of you supporters.
