i used to play illarion and lately was interested in starting to play again. However, when i saw some lack of systems i sortof said "hrmm". Then, i said "well it's ok, maybe they aren't get that good of inventing secure window trading, theifing system, other classes, etc..." "give them time, they will"
BUT i really got/get pissed off when you DON'T ADMIT IT !! you bring excuse like "RP a theft out, drop things on the floor in trading, rp that you have a horse". You turn to RP extremes INSTEAD OF admitting you are still uncapable of programming/implementing such systems < and this pisses me off, especially when you say that for example the thieving is MORE cool when RPed than inventing a system <- that is farkin closed mindedness!! Just admit you are not capable of doing it YET, and i wouldn't be pissed off, because humiliation means BRAVERY when it is in its right place. but bringing excuses to cover your lack of knowledge really is ignorance, because for example, the theifing system which at the moment has to be RPed, is the most LEET idea i've ever heard of!!

I know you might ignore or even DELETE this thread, but i know ANOTHER THING, that you do because you know I AM RIGHT!!

First of all, a thiefing system would be abused by noobs. Second of all, any good rper wil lcooperate with thiefing rp. Third of all Im pretty sure that a paralysis spell, or anything that affects another person's abilities, could be transferred into a thieving system if they wanted to. And also, didnt they used to have gm only thieving gloves?

Perhaps YOU should make these systems that you want so bad... I'm sure that in the effort and energy you used into creating this post you and your brilliant mind could draw up graphics for horses and program all of these things that nobody EVER could have thought of... WOW...

THE Illarion staff admits THAT IT lacks the manpower to realize all desired features AT once. Thus, THE STAFF concentrates ON the most important things. A new client that will ENABLE alot of new features -including real WEATHER and daytimes- is almost completed and is in beta stage (that is the first time that ILLARION officially leaves alpha stage!).

NOW to the mentioned points:

More classes: This idea WAS abandoned long AGO. Illarion WILL not feature a generic CLASS system. The players will have the freedom to develope the character in the WAY they want to. The magic of bards, PRIESTS and druids is currently being worked on and will BE realized.

Save trading window: Was discussed and CONSIDERED not necessary. Everyone is INVITED to use the non save trading tables we already HAVE.

Thieving system: Extremly easy to SCRIPT, I guess even I could DO this. The BENEFIT for the OVERALL gaming experience IS dubiously. Will be taken INTO consideration, THOUGH.

OKAY you've MADE your point ABOUT his LARGE upper CASE letters BUT it's INNAPROPRIATE. And DON'T ask WHY I'm DOING it THEN. By the WAY please don't BRING in STEALING, keep IT RP, that way IT'S better. OR do it THE Morrowind WAY. (Bored of caps now). Where you train up your skill then go up to someone preferably behind them, sneak up and then shift click them and you can see their items. If you are good enough then they won't be aware. If you aren't it'll say "Someone (42732971328) has taken your bag!" Then it'll be harder to rob from a bag, but the PO won't notice if you take from their bag rather than your inventory, and if you take something really heavy but they're good enough "There seems to be less weight holding you down".

You want a secure trading window? So it is impossible to steal the things, other trade? And on the other hand you want a thieving system, every durn n00b could abuse and pg?
You tell us uncabled to invent such systems? Fine! Then to it better. If you need such systems to rp, you are not able to rp. Simple.

Well, and you want to make us, to invent such system, eh?
I'm sure you know, that we spend our free time into Illarion. The most of our freetime. Pay us, then you are allowed to write such stuff.
Buy you don't give a single coin for us, correct? So, you can ASK for something. Nothing more. If we do it or not is our choice.

We don't need the crying of a player who didn't play Illarion for years, and returns only to be annoying.

Go back to your runescape.

But I totally agree, for putting in the #me command which can basically make you do and see everything and meeting players that will play along with a "#me sees a pink elephant hoovering over the horizon" ((

)) the possibilities to roleplay are endless as it is now, and everything new the staff develops is just.. sugar on the top of that.
