I really enjoyed being attacked by mummies, of course no threat to Pendar but it was fun and unsual to rp having to protect a blind lady from a monster swarm.
All in all great fun thanks to the GM
Brian
Shhhhhh! <stuffs a gigantic mushroom in Japheth's mouth>
<Ahem>, as he said before, there were hundreds and hundreds all around, sitting in the tree branches, fluttering all around in the air, riding on fireflies, alighting on mushrooms, et cetera. Pft, two fairies? Don't be silly, two fairies couldn't possibly coordinate the entire operation. That would mean they would practically have to be jumping around at light speed trying to manage things in four different places at once and even roleplay on top of all of that!
Personally I loved the amulet fetching quest we did today, I feel it was perhaps a little spoiled by those trapped using a teleport to get out of the mine. It just seems a little pointless to me, to pass up all that opportunity for roleplay.
But the ghost was great, and stood up to Nalzaxx's grilling very well, and I enjoyed the banter we shared. Hopefully you enjoyed interacting with the players and performing the quest as much as I enjoyed playing it.

Something I always try to hold close to my heart, is that I don't try to force a certain storyline or ending.
The players came up with the teleporter so I let them do and changed the plotline a bit. It's important for me that the players are to able bring in their own ideas and solutions.
I was gun? Huh?! Anyhow, you should have stayed (to lizard person). I was already craving my possible deaths. And ofcourse burials. I found it quite sad no one thought about giving the ghost a nice way of leaving..Sort of say. Anyhow, Nalzaxx had it quite at the wrong ending. The ghost was merely confused.
I am gonna go waaaaaaaay out on a limb here, Erik sweetie, and say he meant "fun" and mistyped.
You as a ghost? How could it not be fun? And no one shot themselves.
See, dwarves are scared of wild, uncontrolled magic. Do you know how dangerous explosions and fire are in a mine shaft? Dwarves are famed for magic weapons. If they were scared stiff of all magic, why would they make them? They make them because magical weapons are a controlled form of magic.

Or ofcourse rune crafting, using runes to enhance the properties of certain things, or to make gems glow for instance to light up their homes. I wonder why Silverbrand has no runecrafter.
Hehe, I think Nalzaxx can be blamed for his caution, and I hope it added a little contrast to those who always rush to help a spirit even in the most dubious of situations.
I mean comon, a ghost turns up, takes you to a dark cave, and asks you to dig up an amulet....
Who, apart from the standard illarion player, is NOT going to get bad vibes off that. And then when the roof falls in when you hand the amulet over. No siree, Nalzaxx has too much sense to go back down THAT hole alone.
