Making way to Tol Vanima
Two humans are hunting in the troll woods. Despite the danger of trolls, they hunt in this location anyway as they have heard that the animals in the woods have grown large and plenty in number.
The humans were taking aim at prey when a huge troll picked one of them up. The other one quickly reacted by setting his arrow on fire and shooting the troll with it.
"AAAHHHH! help me! I don't want to die like this!" the captured human screamed as he struggled in vane to escape the large troll's grip. As The troll grabbed the other man and quickly dropped both of them. The flames on the arrow began to burn wildly and out of control. The troll ran about screaming in pain, eventually succumbed by the flames he fell over and died...leaving the ungodly scent of burnt troll flesh in the air. It was almost enough to make the humans vomit.
"What just happened?" One human wondered out loud. At this time Leumas stepped foreward and brought the flames higher off of the troll's body. "Argh! Are you insane?! We are in the woods! You could set us all ablaze with such magic!" Leumas looked at the man blankly.
"Leave us alone! Don't touch us! AAAHHHH Don't!" Leumas screamed and continued rambling becoming vary incohearent and hard to understand "My gods...this man is insane." The other man muttered in a low voice. At that moment a novice elven mage rushed to the fire and put it out with water magic.
Leumas silence himself quickly. He then peered at the man causing his skin to become hot and him to sweat profusely. eventually the man dropped to his knees and began to flame. Within seconds he explodes and a wild fire caught on to the other man and many trees. The elf used all of his power to kill the ragin flames which stood as high as the trees themselves. The elf then casted a spell in attempt to stop or at least slow Leumas down but to no affect.
By this time the elf was drained and resorted to his bow. He shot leumas in the arm and blood flew out on impact. Leumas removed the arrow with a scream of anger. A small flame came out of the wound and it began to cauterize itsself. Just as the elf began to draw his bow again Leumas put his hand around the elf's throat. Leumas being phsyically frail was not very strong but the temperature of his hands left a burn mark in the perfect shape of his hands.
"I am not afraid of death human!" the elf said in grimacing in pain. The elf then heard a voice similar to Leumas' but calmer and Leumas' mouth was not moving. "Go! Take yourself to Tol Vanima and warn them...Tell them a madman is on his way!" As the voice spoke Leumas' broke his grip and fell to his knees holding his head.

Fainne looks up from a tree she sits beneath, and her jaw draws slightly at the sight of the oncoming ship. She gets to her feet, and waits pateintly for the ship to dock, so she can ask what is going on.
Standing at the edge of the docks, she is in some ways, a picture of natural beauty and innocence herself. She has a wave of golden-blond hair adorned with many tiny flowers that hangs to her wasit, bright blue-gray eyes, and a sweet face that lights up when she smiles. However, the elfess is not smiling currently - her cornflower eyes are instead fixed with alarm at the ship.

Fainne rushes to the human's side, heedless of the ship full of dead people or the damage to the docks.
"Sir," she calls in the elven tongue, "Are you allright?"
She kneels by his side and inspects him for wounds.
((sorry about that

Though Leumas is a human, he understands the elven tongue as he was raised partially by elves. Leumas sits up with a blank expression with no wounds aside from that of the arrow wound on his arm. Leumas was often mistaken for an elf growing up because of his features.
In a human tongue Leumas mutters to himself "I see the elf didn't make it..." Leumas has limited control over himself when his magic power is drained. "I'm not a safe person to be around usually" he says in the elven tongue..."I draw bad luck...like the dragon that attacked the ship."

Leumas stands up visibly weakened.
"Not tell, but find." Leumas begins to laugh uncontrolably and rant as fire forms around his hand. Leumas' voice sounds different as he rants. Before his magic energy is fully regained and he loses his mind again he summons what little magic power he has left and throws a fire ball at the sea actaully making water as far as the eye could see steam on the surface.
"I need a place to go, if i'm found i'll be killed" Leumas falls back down.

The young elfess' eyes flicker between him and the water, and she looks a bit taken aback, but she stands up slowly, offering her hand to help him up.
"There is not much time before you are discovered by someone else, then. Come." she speaks in the elven tongue, hoping he still understands.

Leumas' eyes close as he takes her hands. "ok then, its your funeral. As i regain strength and my magic power returns to my body i lose sanity. That is why i try to to keep in the state i am in now. But sometimes i have to regain my strength or i may die. Though escaping this curse is a nice idea i have things i need to do first."
Leumas walks off with her supporting what little weight he has.

"I am not one to put myself ahead of those that clearly could use my help," she comments, and leads him to a quiet grove that she often goes to to be alone.
"No one has ever disturbed me here," she tells him, "Now, tell me, please. What do you mean by the balance of power and sanity? And how did such a curse become bestowed upon you?"
She speaks the elven language exclusively, in a pretty, lilting accent that suggests she is not natively from Vanima.

leumas sits down against a tree and sighs.
"Well I don't remember anything very much. I know that i was born and raised in Tol Vanima This is why i know the elven tongue I also remember that i was sailed off this island after the incident and locked in a prison on a small island by myself. I don't remember my real name I just remembered an elven cleric spoke Leumas in my direction. I have come here to find out what happened. I remember i was being taught the art of magic, I had an affinity for the element of fire...Just a few things i remember everything else before i woke up in the prison is a blank..this of course was many months ago. Somewhere on this island...i feel that i can find some answers of my past. Maybe a way to break this curse. I know very little about anything i know not of even the gods now. My memory and sanity are in shambles."
Leumas hears people walking this way and hides.

As the adrenaline builds His magic powers begin to recover as well. So in efforts to distract the other elf and also to rid himself of the power he peers at the ocean making a huge cloud of smoke for over it from the heat. Leumas concentrates so hard that he summons eternal flames on the ocean surface creating an unusual spectacle. However Leumas quickly faints causing the fire to die.

Fainne pauses in her walk, and then nods once.
"Very well," she says, "I will bring you to them. But be warned that this island has its own higly efficient guard, of which I personally am a part; and though I will never bring harm to any creature unless circumstances require it, if indeed your actions do produce circumstances that require it, my loyalty lies with Vanima first and foremost."

Isilwen sits at a table alone on the ground level of Vanima, writing in a small leather-bound book. She notices the two approaching and looks up, smiling in greeting as she puts the book away. She stands and bows her head, inviting the two to sit. She smiles again and asks in the Elvish tongue.
"What can I do for you, Fainne, and who is your friend?"
