((explain it? sure
lol,

me and sean played a game for a long time together we had a big war with an opposing fleet, sean made an email address for the garfieldi fleet, that is why our email adresses are the same acutally I did that to find him faster, but as far as I know he quit
I lied about not knowing him, and we act the same because we come from the same game.
after the war, he abandoned us and since he used the best tactics the fleet fell apart, I found out were he went and came here
like I said its no business of you, but I live in missouri! also stop treating me like I am him anyways))

Dyluck, I acutally thought about talking this over and taking badmosches advice but
as far as I am concerned your now a kill on sight case, as soon as a retain my skills
I will tear you a new......

you will see then.

at peggy, I will allow him to have his chance, I never said I wouldent.

Dear Lloyd,

Yes my dear orc, I did hear what you told me about sean-san and Komandir lasukie-kai. But I also, understand that he is an agrumentive person, and where there is strife, there can not be team work. And yes, Dyluck, I do have the background knowledge . You never have seen me because you never looked for me. People do not have to know me to hear my voice. I do not think I am a super mage, but I do not think I am a weak one either. I have a question to you Dyluck,.........will you join? I have seen your actions and (through me and other characters) know your actions. If you want in, you have a free shot. I do understand that pride goes before a fall, but I also understand my will power. There is a difference between will power and pride. If I was prideful, I understand that I would get knocked off my high horse and put in my place. I understand that power corrupts good character, but when in this Councel of Seven, it will not only be me giving out good advice. It will be me and everyone else in the Council of Seven. You have never met me , I know, but I ask that you would  trust me.What have I done not to be trustworthy of? I know you did not exactly say that " I am not trustworthy," but I indicate suspician. Well that is ok if you are suspicious about someone you never met before, I probably would question them also. WILL YOU JOIN DYLUCK? IT WOULD BE THE COUNCIL'S HONOR TO HAVE YOU ALONG SIDE OF ME AND GUROK AND THE OTHERS.

Ohh, and let me give you some advice from the Council of Seven (thus far): Arguing with people like Lloyd, as much as I respect him, will not end because they will not reason. Two opposing storms will not work together to destroy, they do it seperately.

           Sincerely,
     Zeratul Aiur

Well then. The Order of the Grey Light will watch the development of your Council - we will know it when it can become useful for the public, or if it will be a wasted voice, as so many others before.
If you need to enhance your knowledge, you all are welcome to the Library - we once built it for the same reason : To bring wisdom to the people's minds. So, your deeds seem to be honorable.

Just like I said: You only seem to know how to respond to everything with "YOU INSULT ME, I WILL KILL YOU!" You really are that stupid.

Dear Zeratul Aiur

We all have some background knowledge, but do you really think you have enough? Perhaps I am a bit quick to judge you, but it's not so easy as you might think to see whether a person is really the type of person you think he is. There are some things about a person that you can't find out without knowing them for a long enough period of time. I'm not suspicious of you, but just as you've never done anything to lose trust, you haven't done anything to gain it yet. But it's not really a matter of trust, it's just that I question your ability to do this, although I'm not trying to discourage you from trying. I am honoured for your invitation to the council, but for now I must decline, as it seems I may soon cease to exist due to unexplained causes.

Greetings!

First of all, I must say it makes me sad to see that lots of posts that concern a serious theme go up in personal arguments that are fought on a very low mud-fight level. Can't you people, if you have to fight, make a special topic or better ask the admins to make a "mud-fight"-topic in which all of that crap can go? Sincerly, I'm sick of seeing the boards flowing over with that kind of fights.

As for the council - I'm happy to see that another try is being made. Most probobaly I will not prove worthy enough yet to join, although I definitely would if I got a chance, but you have my full support.

Dear Emhyr van Emreis,

I would be pleased if you would tell me more about yourself. Tell me things you do that are wrong, and the good points about your personality. If you really care about giving good advice to others, then you will be true to yourself, and the other council members. If I like what i hear from others as well as from you, you might see yourself as  a member of the Council of Seven.( the job is still open for Dyluck, I would be honored if you would, we need to meet.)

The probobility of me meeting you in Illarion is not very high, and thus I would suggest that, if you want to contact me, you do so on another way.

Does anybody else out there wish to attempt to join? The Council of Seven is still incomplete . I would greatly appreciate it if someone would respond. I already told everyone that I would not give up until the council is completely finished, so I wont.

'Tis a shame I did not see this group forming earlier. You have a fine asset of people joined. I respect every one.
If I may suggest someone, Caranthir is a great person, full of wisdom and has energy that I have never seen in an old dwarf.
This group looks very stable... if the qualities of the members already joined are retained, I would like to join. This looks like a outstanding opportunity to clean up the town.
But I must ask you: What are we to do, once we make the rules?
I am not one to attack someone, much less kill them. If the problems occur, I hope we can sort it out using words.
Do not get the wrong image of me, though. I have a deadly FireSword near me at all times.

Dear Erdrick,

If Caranthir thought himself wise enough to lend a helping hand, why didn't he himself ask to join? And insulting the Council of Seven by calling it the Council of Seven flies is not a good way to impress the council of your wisdom.  Caranthir may attempt to join. Because you have showed me first hand that you  make light of serious matters such as this, your chances of joining are slim as a string. But if I see wisdom in ye, and that your tongue slipped that once, you might join. As for Caranthir, telll me about yourself , you may attempt to join.

                                                                              Sincerely,
Zeratul Aiur( it is only by  mercy that I allow you the chance to enter, Erdrick, my better judgement tells me not to)

Thank thee, Erdrick, for yer kind words.
They bring me honor, some may deserved, some may not.

Maybe some wisdom I have gathered in my long life, but not enough to be called wise.

"Only a fool would think that he's wise"

I do not know what you whist' to know about me..

#me looks at the shiny golden coin at he's hand and smiles.
So ask and I shall answer as good as a humble old dwarf can.

I think you might have misunderstood what Erdrick meant on his other post:

"If the Council of Seven flies"

flies = an verb - means to get of your feet and soar high; make good progress

   Dear Dyluck,

I can not believe this. If I hear what you told me come out of a letter from Erdrick, then I might believe it. But you might just be trying to be a friend and stick up for his mistakes. Otherwise I would believe ye. I must hear it from Erdrick first. If Erdrick really meant a fly, like buzz kind, or to flee. If he meant fly, the least he could do is to tell me in a letter. Dyluck, the spaces are filling quicker, if you are going to join, do it soon.

The sentence, "...if it flies" is a simple figure of speech, and it means exactly as Dyluck said.
I will be careful with my words next time, but strangely I have never had trouble with people not understanding my english before.
If you are still unsure, I shall give an example:
"This plan might really fly!" translated into normal words, means:
"This plan might really work!"

Normally I would be happy to join the council, but lately I find myself busy in many other matters.  I am now one of the High Councillors of the Rangers and the New Magic Academy.  Sorry, but I cannot take on such a large task without devoting much of my time to it.

And I do not think that Dyluck is going to be joining, he has now left for other lands.  I doubt that he will return until far after the council is created.

I'm a pretty outgoing guy, I like to help people in need, and to create.
Quain and I own the house behind the library, the official SilverStar building...
I am a merchant, so that deals with counting money and supplying my customers with my goods.
I am also a member of the Rangers guild. That means, I am experienced with a bow, and can guard the town as needed.
By joining the Council of Seven I hope to help the town of Illarion become safer and work with my other six council members.
Well, I tried to explain myself... I'm tired, it's quarter after 10 here :)
Goodnight, maybe I can meet you in-game to learn about you, too.

Greerings!

I think we should, rather sooner than later, make a meeting in Illarion ((or irc?)) to talk. We need to all be clear as to what the council will exactly be doing, how far we want to put our competences, how far we actually can put them right now...  I believe we are not sufficiently well organised for such a council yet. I'd suggest everybody post at what time (his time zone) this message has been posted, that way we could compare the clocks and agree upon a meeting time when everybody can come. What do you think?

I do not think that the council has ceased it's existance. It is just that probobaly a few people had not much time on their hands during the past few days. I will send Zeratul a dove about my last post here soon, and we will see how things continue to develope.

I nominate Astral and Inioch Hope to the council, I think they are very capable of speaking for the majority and are very fair beings.  If they should wish to join I would urge you to accept them into the council Zeratul.  It is ulitmately your choice in who to add, for the most part, but I do belive these people represent what the law obiding citizens do and they both have great ideas for the future.  Also, I wish for at least one more deutch speaking to join to balance out the effort.  (maybe a GM, preferably a female, just to balance the whole thought process out.)  Thank you for your time.  *signed*  Gurok

Well I am very suprised that I would be nominated for such a possition. I'm not sure what to think, but it sounds good to me, as long as it dose not interfear with my duties to the Rangers. So as long as I can be with this council and the Rangers I would gladly accept if Zeratul would have me. I also talked to Astral about this, I don't know what he will do but I beleve he wants to stay with only the Rangers.

I am also surprised that I am getting nominations.  I haven't done too much except help out with the Rangers when I have been here.  I would normally be happy, but these days I do not have enough time to take part in something so important.  I much prefer a quiet life without a position of power.  Thank you for your nominations, and I am sorry that I cannot take part.

Good luck to all council members!
