Mischeif
A smallish girl with neatly patched clothes, and long, slightly tangled light blond hair sits high up in a tree, looking down at all the people that walk by, rushing from one place to another and fretting about things that she doesn't fully understand, nor care to.
The girl's skin is a soft creamy color with bright pink cheeks and sparkling bright blue-green eyes that shine with happiness and mischeif at the same time. She has bare feet that dangle through the branches, and a very bright smile.
'Dirid is really cute', she thinks to herself, 'He's the cutest boy I met so far, and definitely the most fun. I hope he comes to town today, maybe we can play tricks on Taylor again,'
The little girl, probably around 12 or 13, giggles to herself.

Dirid was counting the coins he "found" that day.
1... 2... 3...
He was sitting on the grass, out of the city. He "found" quite a good number that day.
4... 5... 6...
His mind, however, kept remembering him of someone, although he didn't know why. The truth is that if she was a brat, not much different from him.
7... 8... Dakota... 9...
He tilted his head and stared a long time to the copper coins, silently. Then he took a deep breath.
- Sheesh...

Dakota dangled her feet down for a little longer, and started kicking them back and forth, growing bored of just sitting up there all day.
Her stomach growled and she reached up to pick an apple from a nearby branch of the tree she was sitting in.
She took a bite, but the apple was mushy, like it was far past ripe. "Bah," she muttered disappointedly, and tossed it down to the ground.
-Splat!- The apple exploded and made a mushy mess all over the sidewalk. She grinned widely, then, and reached for another apple, waiting for someone to walk by ...

Dirid tosses the coins inside his leather backpack.
- No use in counting! - he says to them, as if scolding the coins. - Nah.
He stands and stretches, not caring to remove the grass from his baggy ocean blue shorts. He rubs his eyes a moment and glances up, at the sun.
"It's late", he thinks. "Better return home."
He thinks that, if you want to go to the harbour, where he lived with his mother, that one could take the shortest way, avoiding passing through Troll's Bane.
"But maybe..."
He enters town, placing both hands behind his head as he walks lazyly and relaxed.
He thinks that, if you want to go to the harbour, whre he lived with his mother, that one could just take the longer path and see who he meets on the way.
"Maybe..."
- But this time she's not poking me - he thinks out loud.

Dakota grins too, highly mischeivous. Nimble like a little squirrel, she darts partway up the tree and retrieves another apple. This one, she makes quite a production out of squinting and aiming at him, her grin daring him to do something about it.
"Hmm your hair is so shiny. What a pity if it had apple gunk all over it, hm?" She giggles and takes aim for his hair...
-Splat!- Dakota looks to see where the apple hit

Alica thinks back on the mischievous girl she met the other day..
"Dakota is a nice name.. I wish I could have a name like that.. Not dull Alica.." She mutters and kicks a rock as she walks around.
She is growing more and more impatient, not knowing what to do. Talk to her father about knighthood, continue smithing, sneak out with Dakota and steal cookies, or just stand there, looking silly.
She descided to the last told and leaned against the shop wall..
"A shame they took away the hedges.. They were nice.."

Dakota knelt down on the ground and started hunting for Dirid's dropped coins.
"Pah.. 1.. 2.. 3... Here I found some, sheesh, it's not the end of the world. It's just monies." She hands the coins she found over to him, and, straightening, notices the light-haired girl leaning against the wall.
"Heya, Alli-Alli-Allica," she calls, "Let's get some of them cookies we talked about, hm?"
The girl grins widely.
