Amulus smirks under his helmet. The Two Armor clad wyverns, and their riders wait, with the darkening sky behind them. Amulus lowers the pitch of his voice and booms at them

"Halt, you are under arrest on accounts of helping a traitor evade arrest. As such you are to be imprisoned for Treason.

Amulus and Carlay dig their heels slightly into the wyvern's sides, making them roar loudly at Jacob and virginie.

Virginie jumps into Jacob's arms as Jacob stares daggers at the dragon-like beast. Jacob and Virginie rejoin Amulus and his party.

"Well, Come on, Get on. He's safe don't worry. His names Juyut, just don't dig your heels into his side. Carlay, Go a bit ahead and check with Vulter if anythings wrong with the movement, I'll be right along."

"Yeah, Sure Spade."

Carlay and Sjuker fly off towards the town in the northwest corner of Albar territory. He turns to Virginie and Jacob

"Well, Coming or not?"

Virginie's eyes widen. "Wait... you mean... we shall...?"

She clears her throat a little and releases Jacob. Hesitatingly she approaches to the wyvern.
Virginie smiles softly while her eyes meets the wyverns and she extends her open palm...

Juyut extends it's neck rubing it's forehead against her open palm with closed eyes. His rough and battle scared scales rubbing gently against her hand. He Seemingly likes her touch, but why only Amulus knows. Juyut pulls his head back and flicks her hand with his lizard like tongue playfully.

The curious spark in Virginies eyes change to a truely caring gaze. "oh my god", she whispers softly and looks up to Amulus then with a childlike grin on her lips. "Can we take him home?"

"I'm afraid not, Juyut can't make the flight, Nor will any boat take a Wyvern on a wood boat, You know, the flames. Trust me, He has been my companion since i was four years old. If there was a way i could get him there i would."

Virginie strokes affectionally over the wyverns snout and looks up with a concerned look to Amulus again.

"Are you sure he can carry the three of us? I don't want him to overstrain."

Amulus chuckles, Smiling with his boyish grin allthough covered by his helemt. Much like he used to before Amulus and Virginie had their fight. He could feel that Juyut liked her, and so did he. He pats the wyvern on the neck with a armored hand and asks him

"You up for it Buddy? Think you can take all of us to the town?"

Juyut nods his head up and down in answer, Opening his eyes and looking at virgine with his yellow eyes.

"There you have it. He's usually one to say no, so when he says yes, better listen to him. But as you can see, I'm the only fully armored one here, So it shouldn't be any trouble."

Nearly unwillingly Virginie takes her hand from Juyut, she smiles warmly at the creature, whispering to it:
"When I get to heavy, just tell me."

She and Jacob take a seat upon the wyverns back. Virginie behind Amulus, holding herself onto him.

Amulus pats Juyut on the neck slightly, and instantly the Wyvern spreads it's massive wings to full span, Flapping them up and down, creating a massive wind. As Juyut pulls off the gorund, amulus pulls back on the riens gently and Juyut takes off towards the clouds quickly. They Rise and fall with every flap of the Beast's massive wings. Once above the clouds, The Wyvern levels it's flight path, still rising and falling with the beat of his wings, and flies at full speed towards the town in the north east corner of albar territory. After some minutes of bolting along the tops of the clouds, they reach the area of the town, seeing bits and pieces through the clouds, amulus starts to circle the town, Obviously waiting for something, or someone. He looks over his shoulder slightly to Virginie, then looks to Juyut, in his head he hears the thoughts that race through his mind, feelin what the Wyvern feels.

Yes Juyut, I know! geez. i know i like her alright? Damn, do you always have to state the obvious?...Look, She's in "love" with Jacob, it's not like i can do much. Do you see carlay bud? I know..I don't either, i'm starting to worry now. I hope they didn't find trouble...Look, Shut up about Virginie already! I know you like her, i can feel it you idiot. No. She doesn't like me, so it doesn't matter..Lets just keep our eyes peeled for Carlay alright?

Juyut scuffs looking back to him slightly before turning back to scaning the skies.

As the creature raises up to the sky, Virginie clings herself close to Amulus, wrapping her arms around him, seemingly a little bit afraid and excited. She leans her head to Amulus shoulder and looks behind to Jacob. "Hold yourself tight on me"

Suddenly, Through the clouds bursts an Black wyvern, with an ebony clad rider. Carlay pulls up next to amulus, flying nearly wingtip to wingtip, Both seem excellent riders. She calls to him over the noise

"Well, We are clear for now. Lets get in and get out before we get caught."

Amulus Nods and the two wyverns pull their wings to their sides, streaking towards the ground in an extremely fast dive, unfolding their wings once close to the ground, slowing down to a halt, and landing with a thump, and some scratching sounds as the wyvern's claws hit the stone walk ways. Amulus and his party, along with Carlay climb off their Wyverns. Carlay and Amulus walk towards the Mangagment Building, They look at the man standing outside ordering around the slaves. he turns and jumps, Startled.

"What is it that you lot want!?"
"We've been ordered to come and get a slave, here is the petiton for Release. We have your compensation money.

Amulus hands him a parchment, with a seal closing it. The Manager opens the note and reads with a questioning look over all the words

"He's a Jade heh lad? Bloody hell, Sorry 'bout that. He doesn't say much, but he could have atleast said that. Come, This way!"

Amulus and carlay walk forward, motioning for Jacob and Virginie to follow the man aswell. They walk towards what looks like a jail house

Virginie bites her lips as they enter the building. The air is filled with the smell of excrements and blood...

Her eyes narrows as she sees several people within the building. It seems that those who are still within the building, are those who can hardly be sold. Those who are either old, missing limbs or either starved til exhaustion.

Virginies eyes fill with tears at the sight, she lets off Jacobs hand she grasped before and walks over to a woman, sitting curled up at the wall. She kneels to her and whispers softly , while her eyes wander over her.

The man attempts to say something, but shuts his mouth again. He knew a dangerous situation when he was in one.
A few steps further , in a cell lies a young man. The cell gets unlocked and he lets Jacob and Amulus inside.

Amulus's eyes wander to the boy, who is laying limply on the floor, he motions for jacob to stay by the door and watch the man while he walks over to the boy, shaking his shoulder gently, as he doesn't move nor respond, amulus takes off one of his gloves and holds two fingers to the neck of the boy. Not feeling a pulse amulus drops his hands slowly, and puts his glove back on. He leans down and picks up the boy, tossing him over his shoulder, then picking his spear up with his free hand turning towards the door.

"Very smart old man. Your lucky i don't kill you here and now. Letting a man die, let alone a Jade!

"What does it matter to you! Your Not the leader of the Jades, That broad in the Ebony armor is! The Original lad was banned for treason. Now take your comrade and leave!"

"Very well, lets go jacob."

The two walk into the hall, and walk towards the door, amulus holding the dead boy over his shoulder, yet walking as if the weight does not affect him at all.

Virginie keeps kneeling at the woman .. she looks over her shoulder for a moment as Amulus and Jacob come back. Her eyes fall upon the corpse and finally she can't hold back her tears anymore.

"We can't go , these people need help...", she says quietly...

"If we don't go, this bloke will figure out it's me, and then we'll be in even more trouble So please! Lets go, if we were to move any of these people, they would die."

Amulus leads the two outside, finding Carlay outside, but with her back turned to them, her spear against her back, standing in a battle stance, amulus looks past her to see a flank to soldiers, all lined up in their Albarian armor. He curses loudly, dropping the boy he turns around, moving virginie behind him and stands looking to the Manager, as his guards start to fall in behind him. From behind him, a voice belows

"Amulus Corplai, Son of Duke Corplai the III. Your are under arrest for Treason. Abandoning your duties without proper request of leave is a felony offense. Toss down your weapons and your friends shall live."

Amulus turns and whispers to his side, to jacob.

"When you see the signal, me, virginie, and Carlay are going to take off towards the boat. You get your chance to show off, make it to the boat, you will have help, and a horse, Just wait a few seconds...Where are those bloody Idiots!"

Out of the forest twangs a bowstring, catching the manager dead between the eyes with an arrow. Before anyone could react, another arrow was shot, taking out an archer on carlay's side. Out of the bushes rush two Cavaliers, Amulus grabs Virginies wrist and darts for Juyut, while Carlay runs for Sjuker right beside Juyut. Running up Juyut's back and into the seat, the two wyverns take off, kicking up enough dust from the street to cause a smoke screen, They bolt for the clouds, out of the reach of the archers, and move towards the boat. The last thing he saw of Jacob and his mercenaries, was jacob cutting off a soldiers arm with his axe, while the two Cavaliers rushed side by side into the front lines, trampling more soliders than they hit with their spears.

What Jacob and Amulus's fellow Mercenaries did, He knows not off. Only Jacob knows.

As the two Great Beasts flap their wings, moving at full speed towards the boat. The flight was uninterupted over albar. Almsot as soon as they aproach the Beach. Infront of them Hover two Wyverns with Albarian clad riders. Without even speaking, Carlay goes to the right, And Amulus breaks left, the other wyverns do the same. Amulus flies, Thinking and felling what Juyut is thinking.

We're in Deep bud. We have to end this quick so we don't harm Virginie. Yeah. Ready? Lets rush him

Amulus jerks on the riens towards the rider, Juyut turns and streaks towards the Rider. Amulus turns Juyut to evade the riders lance and strikes the rider's shoulder holding the riens, but the spear the missed Juyut catches amulus in the side, losing grip of the riens, Amulus slides to the side and starts falling towards the ground. Juyut turns his head and grabs Virginie to the riens, once she grabs on, Juyut darts towards Amulus. The thoughts of the dragon playing in Amulus's head.
Come on! Come on stupid wings, Amulus!! We're coming!

"Amulus!!!", Virginie yells out as Amulus slides out of the sit. Panickly she grabs the riens, without thinking. She bends her upperbody down so that Juyut can dart after Amulus.

"Faster, faster", she thinks, preparing herself to catch the man back onto the wyvern while they head down.

Amulus spreads out, spread eagle to slow his decent watching Juyut bolt for him. He flips the spear so it faces the ground, and throws it as hard as he can, It nails into the ground, standing upright. He waits, almost calmly, knowing that Juyut won't let him hit. He lets the thoughts race through his head, letting Juyut know what to do

Alright bud, dart along the right side, I'll grab the riens and swing on behind virginie. Just make sure not to Miss heh? Oh shut up, you are always clumsy, just try not to be this time.

The wyvern strafes to the side in it's almost vertical dive, aproaching Amulus's right side. Amulus grabs onto the riens and the Wyvern Pulls hard left, swinging amulus onto his back, behind Virginie. And beats his wings ahrd, kicking up dust as the wyvern bolts along side, amulus grabs his spear out of the ground as the wyvern tilts to the side for him to grab it and smiles to Virginie

"Your flying now. I'll do all the fighting, Just stay low, and let your mind free of thought, so Juyut can talk with you. Just feel the motion, feel how his muscles move, they'll tell you everything you need to know."

You can't be serious Amulus, She's never flown before.
Then shut up and concentrate, help her fly. I can't hold the riens and fight. he hit my shoulder. Shut up already. Damn Whiner.

"You can't be serious, Amulus! I've never flown before!", she says to the man. It's easy to see her relief as the man was sitting on the wyvern again. "Are you okay?", she asks quickly, blinks a few times and tries to calm her heart.

She immediately looks out for the other wyvern that attacked them. She breaths in deeply and quickly resigns herself to the situation. "Down and left, Juyut", she thinks - surprised that the wyvern seem to understand her intentions.

"I'll Be Fine for now, Lets Just get this guy. Okay, this is what we are going to do. Fly straight at him. Once within 50 feet, tell juyut to do a Dive Slide, he'll know what it means. Just be sure to hold on tight with your legs and hold onto those riens.

Amulus Holds onto Virginie, clasping heavily with his legs to Juyut and holds his lance to the side of his uninjured arm. losely. He waits for his chance.

Virginie nods and readies herself. Clasped to her, Amulus might even feel how fast her hearts beats, but brave as the woman is she concentrates on flying.

"I think you've heard it Juyut, lets go straight for him. We will get that bird.", she thinks.

As they get closer and closer Virginie 'tells' Juyut to dive slide.

Oh bloody hell...This isn't going to be pretty..

The Wyvern inverts it's self and strafes to the other side of the opposing Wyvern. Juyut inverts again so they are back to the right way up. Amulus puts the spear in between him and Virginie. The Spear plunging into the chest of the Wyvern. It lets out a Loud Roar, and breaths out fire towards the sky as it's last breath. The dead Dragon plumits for the ground, with it's rider unable to do a thing. Amulus removes the spear from between them, and lets it rest against Juyut's side again and talks to Virginie with a slight chuckle in his voice

"You Alright? That wasn't so hard was it?

"Where is the other?", she asks Amulus and looks out for the other wyvern.

Amulus taps Virginie on the shoulder and points to the left, and low near the ground. Carlay is flying up to meet them, with seemingly no wounds or dents on her armor

Carlay comes up along side them, the two Wyverns Straighten out their wings, and start to glide down softly towards the ground, as they talk.

"HAHAHA, Can't fly your own Wyvern now Spade? She is a better flyer than you and it's her first time!"

"Oh Shut up Carlay. I took a hit and fell off, she had to fly him. Oh, and be quiet, We both know you've been flying longer than me."

"Yeah yeah, So what are we going to do now? I've gone and looked ahead, theres a few ground troops holding our boat hostage."

"Well, We're going to take it back, Duh. Alright, Carlay, you take the Stern of the boat and work your way to me. I'll start on the bow, so we pinch them together, Sjuker and Juyut can take care of the ones off the boat. They want to have some fun as it is."

"Alright Spade, See you on the other side."

The Two dragons split, amulus slides down, resting on Juyut's legs, and slowly lowers her the same. Juyut slows down to as slow as he can go, and flies by the bow of the ship, amulus and virginie Hop off onto the deck. Amulus takes virginie's hand with his injured arm, Apparantly the pain isn't so intense he can't move it. He watches two Pikemen running at him He spins his spear with one hand. smacking one across the face with the blunt end of the spear, sending him over the railing. The other stabs at Amulus, He moves to the side but can't move Virginie fast enough. The spear hits her lower left forearm with some force. Amulus's eyes turn as Hard as stone and lets go of her hand, taking the man by the back of the head, and running the spear through and through his neck. He places a foot against The mans Chest and kicks his dead body back, his spear making a squishing sound as it pulls out of his neck.

Juyut and Sjuker go for the two guards outside the boat, Juyut Picks the man up with his massive jaws and Starts a vertical climb, Bitting the man mortally and letting him fall to the ground from a good 100 feet in the air. Sjuker darts at the man and breaths out a fire ball, catching the man in the chest, setting him ablaze. the two Wyverns round and perch on one of the boat's mast side crosses.

Carlay only had one man on her side, the Captain of the group. She jumps off Sjuker and lands with a loud thud, straighting out she stares the man in the eye with a huge grin under her Helmet. The Battle lasts for some minutes, Spear against sword. Clashes and Clangs can be heard for miles. Finnaly, Carlay spins to the right, and runs the man through with a dagger from off her back. She lets the man fall to the ground and goes to remeet with Amulus.

"Damnit, I'm so sorry Virginie, i can't believe i let you get hurt."

You always get hurt, what does making someone your protecting get hurt any different?

Oh Shut up, What do you care....Sorry alright, Yes i know she was very nice. YES I KNOW. Shut up, i know how to dress a damn wound.

"How is She Spade? And Good work you two *says to the wyverns*"

"She'll be fine. I'll get her down into a bed, and dress her wound. Keep watch for Jacob, If he comes with a Party not of our favor, call me."

Amulus tosses his helmet to the side, and picks up virginie, near lovingly, and takes her down to the his room, and places her in the hammock. He goes to the captain, and retrives some bandages. He ties a bandage around the wound to slow the bleeding. Before he can even turn to close the door, The exahustion kicks in from the battle, amulus slams against the door, which now closes, and he slides to the floor against his own will, Extremely Exahusted.
