Before opening a new topic, go through this checklist. If none of this applies, open a new topic and describe your problem. Make sure that you always give the following information:
- CPU, RAM and OS of your computer
- Type, RAM and driver version of your graphics card
CHECKLIST BEFORE REPORTING THE PROBLEM
What seems to be the problem?
"Message: Cannot connect to server"
> Is the server online?
>>Check that it is online in the 'Server Status' thread; or else view amount of players in main page, if the line is constant, then the server has probably frozen
> Are you connected to the internet?
>> Is your network working?
>> Is your firewall admitting the right JAVAW.EXE to access the net?
> Neither of the above, report it by creating a NEW TOPIC
Technical problem has occurred
> Check the log files for more information. The log files are located in the same folder where your character data is residing. Check "error.log" for new entries.
> If you don't know where your char data is, press the "Info" button on the login in screen, it shows the path.
> It is recommended to delete the log files occasionally so you can find new entries more easily.
Blank screen
> Is the server online?
>> Check that it is online in the 'Server Status' thread; or else view the amount of players in the main page, if the line is constant, then the server has probably frozen
> Is the game loading?
>> Give it a few seconds more to load
> Are you using the latest graphics card drivers?
>> Check your hardware
>> Look out for the best OpenGL support you can get for your graphics card, DirectX does not help
> Did you reach the minimum system requirments?
>> Check your computer
> Try the Option "Disable Texture update". Helps with some graphics cards
> Neither of the above, report it by creating a NEW TOPIC
Blank Screen then exits
> Are you using the latest graphics card drivers?
>> Check your hardware
> Did you reach the minimum system requirments?
>> Check your computer
> Server May have crashed at the time of your login
>> Check if server is online
> Neither of the above, report it by creating a NEW TOPIC
"Character Name does not exist"
> Have you typed the character name correctly?
>> Check that there are no spaces before or after the name, both in the name inputted and the Real name
> Have you created that character beforehand?
>> Use the Account system in order to create and account, and wait until the character is PLAYABLE

Graphics / Movement is very slow
> Are you using the latest graphics card drivers?
>> Check your hardware
>> Look out for the best OpenGL support you can get for your graphics card, DirectX does not help
> Does your machine meet the minimum requirements (ca. 500 MHz CPU, Graphics card with 16MB and OpenGL drivers)
> Try playing with the the following options:
>> Graphics to "Reduced"
>> Lower the frame rate
>> "Disable Texture" update to on
>>Do NOT change the color depth, 32 is the fastest setting
Message "Cannot find display mode"
>This error occurs when the resolution of the client is smaller than the resolution of the system, or the colour doesn't match.
>> Check your desktop resolution and colour, change it accordingly.
>>>You may be unable to play the game if your desktop doesn't support a large enough resolution
>Are you running linux?
> The color depth of the client must match the set color depth of the desktop environment. For the most cases, change the client settings to 24 bit colours.

Mouse wheel does work strangle

Game Crashes when using bag
>This is a bug which occurs when you overfill the bag. Its a common problem with druids. To solve it you need to remove a few items from the bag.
The client generally looks in the belt, but then takes items from the bag, so to solve it:
>>Try to sell an item which exists in the bag. Put a single item of that sort in your belt and talk to an NPC which buys that item. The NPC will take the item from the bag.
>> Try to craft using an item which exists in the bag. Put a single item of that sort in your belt and try to craft using it as a material. The crafting process will take the item from the bag.

Use the search function
There is one important thing to add: Before you decide to go with the NEW TOPIC variant you should always(!) check the forum entries if your problem already occured with somebody else. >90% of the problems that occur have occured before, even if you feel like: "hah, I discovered a bug". So therefore its solution (if any) and/or discussion about it can most likely be found somewhere in this forum via the search function. This way you don't spam the forum with useless entries which show up for the 100th time and(!) get your solution without having to wait for others to reply. So the search function is the first thing which should come to your mind when you are considering the possibility of a new thread.
