What scares you about our believes that would make you hunt us and kill us over and over again at the cross of life i made no attempt to pk or hurt anyone i lived by the rules and still you killed me without reason and told me all the follwers of ishtar must die.How many times do i have to tell you we will not go away all you have made us do is change our names and hide our beliefs but in time we will overcome.Wyvor is not a part of our clan he was kicked out and yet you blame us for his actions of pking is this your sense of justice if so it is misplaced. In time we will show are faces once we have mastered the magic of ishtar creator of all magic and ishtar will not forget this day the day his temple ran red with the blood of his preist. It was once said that if you kill a man for his beliefs you only make him right well now in time we will be back we talk to you evryday and help you hunt we are evrywhere in evry school and guild we overcome all and the time for judgement is coming.

ooc: roleplaying means also, to fit with your role in an existing world and his backgrounds. Illarion has a backgroundstory and existing gods.
For example: Like it is an medivallike world, you can't play here an astronaut, who's flying to the moon. This role doesn't exist. And also if you do it well, it will be bad roleplay, cause you are falling out of the background of this world.

To roleplay a GOD, you would need some abilities that are god-like. Since NO player will have god-like abilities, but only those of a NORMAL man (and no super hero too), you will have severe problems in playing such a role well.
Of course your character will be able to do things you cannot do. This is, obviously, one thing that many people love in roleplaying.
The mistake many young roleplayers make, is an extreme overpowering of their ROLE. That means, in hope to gain respect and such from other players, they create characters with a supernatural background, who's power are extremely high. Of course in the game, they DO NOT have a little bit of such a power, unless they start to powergame, what is forbidden by server rules.
I REPEAT AGAIN :
The meaning and fun of ROLEPLAYING is NOT to be an extremely powerful person and become the "best", "strongest", "fastest", "smartest", "beautifulst" person in the game. You can also powergame a ROLE.
The sense of roleplaying is ACTING. You play a role of a NORMAL person in a medieval fantasy background. This person, the character, can do much more than you could, but EVERY CHARACTER has the SAME average qualities. So you can play a wizard, priest, warrior, healer, druid, alchemist, thief, beggar, smith, carpenter, peasant, baker - WHATEVER, as long as the character you play FITS THE BACKGROUND STORY. Being "the king of all lizards" for example is impossible too. In illarion, you can only become a king, if you have a lot of followers, in a clan or something.
Illarion has a set, but developing background story. We have a standing pantheon. No more gods will be added, and it is almost sure hat names will not change too. And players WILL NOT be allowed to play a god.
On the other hand, "Ishtar" was a goddess in an ancient culture. ( german word : Sumerer ) It was the goddes of love and pleasure or something like this (there were sacred temple prostitutes as a kind of priest, or so).
Since Illarion has an OWN background, created to become a new story, it is quite disturbing if you use a god's name that already exists in the real world, and try to mix it into the game.
Even nowadays, there are still some people who pray to some of the ancient gods. ( some of them, are just new age "pagans", with a wide variety of beliefs, but one should respect them too )
---
By the way, calling yourself a god, in a world where gods exists, like in illarion, COULD be quite a problem if one of the real gods appears to hear that you call yourself a god... In the eyes of such gods, or their priests, this is a kind of blasphemy or just madness.
That is the reason why the most players take you for insane. Sure you can play, like Dark Sunrise does, a person who thinks he is a god himself, and makes himself a god-king of an organisation out of a little madness... that would BE roleplaying.
Taking a role that would give you power, is nonsense and bad roleplaying too. Every person who plays a beggar, and plays his role well, can be a better roleplayer.
ROLEPLAYING HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BECOMING MORE AND MORE POWERFUL, like DragonballZ or such ridiculous ideas.
Now, go and read the game background, you will like the stuff we already have.
