Hi, Ive been helping a mate in writing the story to get into Illarion because he loves roleplaying even in games like Runescape. Unfortunately I helped him write a story and submitted it, later it saidthe account was accepted so he logged on, the screen with the story was there again and he has to write the story all over again. I'm worried that whatever happend he might decide against joining just because of the fact of the story, he thinks its all a bit too formal writing a story and really really wants to join and become part of the community of Illarion.
My point is that is it a bug that says he can create a character but then tells him to write the story all over again?
The story is there to decide whether the person is good enough for Illarion, i doubt that the GMs will help you break the rules (again). In that case take it as justice taking care of itself, and tell him to write the second one himself.

This is not appropriate. The story is to be written entirely by the person applying.

I have no way of telling if anything went wrong with his account application unless I have his account name. Get him to message me or one of the other GMs.
There is a bug that pops up occasionaly where people spend a lot of time and effort writing account stories, they send it in...and a page comes up telling them to do it all over again. If this is what happened to your friend, he can pm me the story and I'll look at it.
You are much better off with writing the story in a text editor first and then pasting it whereever you want. I thought that was the usual way to do things like this. You can always have a connection crash and the like and puff, everything is gone and you have to start over.
