and just one huge festival for everyone we could call it, Peace and Hope of the Ages day

anyways, (if this happens I am writing a few songs to do with my life in illarion) and if the day is held on a saturday I would be happy to through and open concert, with songs I wrote and some Anti War songs (pink Floyd,The Who, some oldies, a few contemperaries) during the night (around 1-3AM for germans I think....) I would like the following to perform maybe one or two songs with me on stage ;
Dyluck
Hope
Korwin
Aragon
Galadria

What is Illa???? and no!!! Astral and Sir Hope and I are already organizing a party to celebrate our "coming of age" So I will decline. (shouldn't this be on the RPG board???)

No, YOU are the selfish one here! You go about starting wars with various people, and then drag your "friends" into it, get them killed many times, and then all you can think about is how you got hurt! You always assume that it is someone else's fault when these wars start. Have you ever thought that you may be the problem?

This is how you think:

- society has a problem and sean-san is here to help them.
OR
- society has a problem with sean-san.

When it should be:

- sean-san has a problem and we are trying to help him.
OR
- sean-san has a problem with society.

Think about this next time you go blaming things on others.

As far as I know, those 25 ingots to the Sirani Temple were Korwin's ingots that he gave to you when the rangers merged with the mephiso thing, but the other 25 are still at large, probably what you used to pay off your enemies to stop killing you.

And every time someone asked you for the 50 ingots back, you always made up a petty excuse! So you think you can steal ingots from someone, then donate them to something to make yourself look good, no way.

The only reason you want to make a mass project and a mass holiday is to have more things credited to your name, more things to BRAG about. Just like the guild council, which you continue saying was YOUR IDEA, when it REALLY was not yours at all. And you did not really make it work, or where is it?

And I really like the second of your scenarios better: "sean-san is corrupt and society is trying to save him".

And dont tell me that I am taking money from people, the people have a choice whether they wish to take my School's tests, and they know that once they give the money up, the School can use it for the project at their will. If someone does not want to support the project, they either specify so, or they DONT TAKE THE TESTS, simple! And if you say this about me, you are also accusing Dyluck and the Magic Academy, so watch your accusitions!

And was there really anyone in your guild besides you?

Argh... shut up, altogether. This is ENOUGH.

As far as i can see this time, Sean wanted to start a concert, like the one Dyluck started some time ago. In this concert, he tries to unite some people, and they will sing songs and such.

He only had the idea to combine this with the "ritual of hope". This WOULD have the advantage that both the ritual AND the concert would be better visited.

To quote Sean :

He does not say it is HIS concert, he just needs some musicians to help him. AND he said "huge festival", that normally does not include only one singing person, but all people who want and sign in before. He only mentions that he will participate by singing some songs and wants to do that together with some others.

His proposal is, instead of making some small celebrations, grab together some of them, and turn them into a huge festival. That does NOT mean your celebration of hope is totally melted into it, that only means, it will appear in the festival. For example, at the beginning the hope celebration, then a big festival with musicians, and on and on and on.

I see no offense against you and this ritual of hope ( actually, i have never seen a ritual of hope, and don't know what it is about, is it related to one of the 16 Gods ? Or is it a more philosophical idea ? ).

So why are you starting to offend Sean this time ?

oh oh wait a second, Making a ritual of hope hmmm named after hope....by hope....for hope? THE SOUNDS LIKE MAKING SOMEONE LOOK GOOD BY SELFISHNESS...celebrating old age....when you have a long way to go yet.....just to make you look older yep another petty event to make YOU look good
oh and one other thing I NEVER DECLARED WAR ON ANY GUILD FIRST I DECLARED WAR ON ONE GROUP ONCE IT WASENT EVEN A REAL GUILD, SO WHY DONT YOU TAKE SOME ADVICE AND SHUT UP!

1) Celebration of Hope is NOT my celebration, it was made by Inioch Hope.

2) I said in my last post that if someone who pays me for tests does not want to support the building project, they do not have to.

3) I dont think having a simple age celebration will make anyone look older, only natural process can do that.

4) You are free to organize whatever concert you wish, it does not matter to me, only the ritual of hope is a different type of occasion, and it would not be appropriate to combine them.

5) The Rangers are waiting for their funds, talk to Korwin.

2) then why make people pay for something that is esseintailly useless (oh no, hes a rune knigh oooh) also how would they know where thier money is going, you will most likely use it for yourselves or building anyways

RE 1: Same reason you want to have a concert, to have fun.

RE 2: What does Rune Knight (My magic academy rank) ave to do with this? I dont see why someone would not want to support the project, as it will be used by ALL citizens of illarion as they please. If they feel so strongly, i suppose they could pay after the project is done.

RE 3: Ok, thats fine, ask him.

RE 4: I do not speak for everyone, i was speaking for the age party which i organized.

RE 5: So? Does that mean you can spend his money?

RE 6: It does not matter to me in the slightest, I am pleased that something will be organized.

Really, if it was just the age celebration, i would join you in the concert, but since Inioch Hope has spent so much time preparing the Hope Celebration, I would hate to see any of his program go to waste. If you can fit us in and keep his program in it's entirety, I am sure we can work something out.

Sorry for getting ahead of myself.

So, the terms:

1) We get a space to do our ceremony and other stuff.

2) Our guests are invited.

I think that should be easy enough to work out. But THIS IS NOT FINAL, we still have to ask Inioch if he wants to combine the Hope Celebration.

I ment we all are invited. who wants to have fun anyways, we can have multiple ceremonies in one days in all there entirities, one can be on libary balcony the other in the mines another in the smith at the end of the road....
I didnt know that an age ceremoni is a reason for private party?

Sean, why are you badmouthing fund collecting? People who contribue give their money did so freely by their OWN will. Nobody forces them to give money. Guilds are not obligated to build something that will be for EVERYONE will like anyways. If people inside the guild give money then they leave it to their leader. If people outside the guild give money then it's called a donation.

Not to mention that in the schools, students pay for their EXAMS, not for a "contribution"

And I think schools are a sham, people spend money to get ranks in a "school" but then what are the ranks used for? bragging rights? there are so many "rune knights" nowadays, and they all think they are the best. But all they have proven is they can cast many spells one after the other, or kill rowurms and red skellys, no I am not jealous, I just think that a school should be a place or learning not a place of showing off. Don't take this the wrong way, I aprricate all the help runeknights gave me, either helping me or killing me. That is just my oppinion

No, there are only 5 Rune Knights. Shi Long has attained the (second) highest rank, so he is rightly one of the strongest mages/warriors.

That IS what the title 'Rune Knight' means, being able to cast all spells efficiently.

If it's so stupid then why do so many people take exams? Maybe people just want to be a part of the Academy, not everyone does something for physical benefits. Nobody forces them to take exams, and people who think it's pointless don't have to take exams, and so far no one else has complained. If they did, then they would just simply stop taking exams. And what I don't understand about your complain is that if you think giving money for exams in a school is a sham, then what do you get from giving money to other guilds?

There is NO exam in the Academy that requires beating Dyluck.
