Minor Complaint: Cabbages

Could cabbages be made faster? it takes 20 mins (approx) for them to grow...

COuld you make them come to after 2 rot cycles instead?
SOme of us can't afford 20 mins of waiting.

Some of us have only dial up connections and can only spend limited time playing illarion, and i never planned on spending 20 mins of that time next to a field waiting.

Grain grows about as twice as fast as cabbage, could you bring them up to same time please?

Like Jeremy said, do something else while waiting...that has nothing to do with dial up connections. Your char is not bound to stay at the field...do you know any farmer who would watch his lovely seeds until they are grown?

I am on dial-up too...and have limited time to play due to family...stuff.
Another solution....plant something else and buy your cabbages.

another good way to avoid wating for cabbages to grow is to not grow them

Changing the speed is possible. There is no need to change it, though.
