I had the same problem too the other day...Of course, Emily sucks at peasantry. But she got one to grow a week or two ago. But then the sprout died while I was carrying it.

A halfling named Ariadne Sommerwind told me that Oldra changed the way trees were planted. In other words, you have to put the cherry or apple on the grass, then water it to get it to grow. I just did that, and after 5-10 minutes of watering cherries on the grass, one did grow. So I think there is no bug.

...

Wait, that's the original way of planting isn't it?

If you have more than one bucket stacked in you hand and you shift click on it then shift click on the water all are filled (good) if you shift click on it then on the place you wish to water all are dumped (very very bad)

I know you probably shouldn't have more than one bucket in a hand but it's tedious to take a bucket put it in your hand... fill it with water, put it back to the belt and repeat... perhaps I should use just one bucket?

Perhaps empty buckets should not be stackable just like full ones because if you have 2 full buckets and you try to stack one to another full bucket it dissapears competely... which is not good...

another thing... does this mean that sunlight thing isn't a factor anymore?
