Hey Galim, guess what? Good should never always win in an RP game. That would make things much too predictable and boring.

and the happenings were forced upon us. Thats not fun. We had not the little bit of a chance to do anything. we are just puppets.
You had a chance. That post is just a recap of what actually happened in-game. Most of the quotes in the story are directly from the log. Nothing untoward has happened. You can still send back what will come from the portal.

..but whether you want to or not, is another question.

donal, if the goods doesn't win against THAT evil the world is destroyed, you understand that? The evil behind the portal are not guys who will hold us as slaves, and build up an evil empire. thats evil which will destroy everything. and the good guys on the isle can't win against what is on the other side of the portal.

Which is exactly why they don't go "I AM KILL THE EVIL WITH MY WEAPON NOW" as usual. They like...use their brain.

I think the world is doomed.

With the common beliefs and structures of thinking and problem solving of most of the sword wielding "heroes" around.. the world is doomed.

one tiny little request with the next quest. when Madrook comes to lay pwnage upon our isle, can he please please please, NOT attack us with hordes of skeletions. trolls, spiders, dragons, gnomes, orges, Fae folk, crossdressing lizards, but anything but skeletions. i beg of you!

Er, the only little problem is that the dev's haven't completely finished a good Athian graphic yet. Soooo..... we'll just be replacing them temporarily with those convenient skellie graphics for now, yes? Good? Good. Thanks for your understanding, we appreciate it. We'll commence with the quest planning immediately, having settled this issue so nicely.

Athian clones are easy to beat, just put some hot skirt infront of them any they will kill each other to get it.

See, for athian clones my idea for the downfall of Athian steps into play. We arm a Beautifull lady with a revealing dress and send her into his bedroom with all his wives around. But in this case, with all the athian's around ;)

We can't defeat it. The first time the evil attacked it needed the whole armys of the whole world and the younger gods fighting it. and that was a damn close war which detsroyed much of the world.

A group of 12 mortal warriors can never be able to defeat even the smallest part of the monsters waiting behind the gate. and if they can, than the gms really made sh*t because that will be sooo unbelievable and stupid.

By the why, I didn't like it that we first get warned of the portal, the end of world and that there is a traitor who could open it just to read a day later that the traitor opened the portal. that we have to read from everything in a post, where we can't do anything and the happenings were forced upon us. Thats not fun. We had not the little bit of a chance to do anything. we are just puppets.

Yeah, like Japheth said, most of that stuff happened in game. Secondly, I tried waiting for a while, but I wanted to move things along so the GMs could do their thing and I could get out of the way. Thirdly, there was absolutely no defense of the portal up, two or so days after the warning, people didn't really do anything quick. Fourthly, I thought I actually made it too obvious, because Fooser actually told a few people

I believe some people search for a break in the row of these official quests, a bit of quietness and concentration at own things. By this they do not (want to) listen and see all the signals for an new quest and release themself. It's a kind of a general tiredness. That's my belief and own experience.

maybe because pendar logged off right after the queen was there and we hadnt the possibility to rolepaly with him ingame the protection of the portal and the "who is it" before fooser started his action?

and when he told it someone ingame and noone reacted than he maybe told it to the wrong charakters. are they very active and involed in the isles politics? and did they even know what fooser told them there?

No, not really. Seeing as he was TALKING to Pendar right before he did it

He was told to do something, and he did it, not too complicated

Told the wrong characters? What, Im suppose to change my characters actions just to achieve some OOC purpose? Absolutely not
