Question about Player-Owned Property

Post by Saradomin_Meranwyn »

Now that there are keys implemented IG for different doors, etc. Would it be possible for one to gather resources, build, a Guildhall or Home, and get a key made for that door?

Just need feedback, no flaming needed, or wanted.

Getting a building built for a guild is always possible if:

a) You find a nice GM
b) You got enough players
c) You got enough ressources

But not necessarily in that order.

could someone state or... maybe post a link (didn't use search function because I didn't know if old things still applied to new map) to tell me how much reasorces are needed and for what? I think this is generally wanted information by many.

Information is being collected and compiled. It should be put out here in one neat little package shortly.

One basic rule:

Your building must be of benefit to the entire Illarion community and not just testament to your groups ability to collecting items.

No. Not unless you plan to host wild parties that will benefit the island in some way or another.

Sibanac parties where everyone must come naked, with their own pipes, and the next day the island will look like it's a cloudy day, but it shouldnt be.

Would a guildhall count?

All properties must benefit the gameworld in some way, as opposed to sitting idle with nobody using it. We've had that happen far too many times in the past with places such as Greenbriar, the Druid's Mansion, the old house by the sea on the last map, the Long Monastery, etc etc.

I'd advise you contact Aegohl for details.
