Western parts of the desert are belonging to the Kingdom of Silverbrand. To be more exact, every part in viewable range to the eastern border of the mountains of Silverbrand.
my apologies for the mistake Ghorn, either way where the oasis itself is does explain the territory it lays on. if i said the oasis is in the north and you said the dwarves claimed the southern parts of the desert for example. isn't it rather clear, to its location. just a thought.
Nice of you to call everyone a surfacer, while Silverbrand continues to grab land on the surface for no reason. Silverbrand is underground, and they should stay there. While you make ridiculous claims about land owange, and the rest of your royal brothers sit on their drunken rears, we are fighting a war for the island, people who are supposedly your allies. But fear not, the assistance of the fallen dwarves is not needed, leave these things to the real people of this land.
Silverbrand got no single request for help in the current crisis. If the surfacers are too proud to ask us for help we won't disturb them in their matters.
For us they don't want our help if they don't ask for it, aye.
And it is an amusing joke when a lizard speaks of himself as people, har!
Well, when undead legions advance across our island, one would think that aiding in driving them back would be self-explanatory. Is it someones pride or your stupidity that is at fault here?
The "advancing" happened in Trolls Bane and at the Grey Rose castle. We won't give up our defense and let Silverbrand left back vulnerable just to help the longlegs in defending their wrong placed castle!
Having thoroughly studied the cartography of the island at some length it becomes apparent your borders begin and end around the throne of Irmorom and surrounding mountain range.
It is conceivable at a stretch that your borders lay on a small spit of sand yet assuredly not any real track of desert.
Personally I care little but it is a fact that land is the heritage of the entire island perhaps the dwarfs should be careful how much they try and fit into the subterranean halls.
As I am so I remain

If you would read the treaty with Trolls Bane more carefully you would see that our land is not just the borders of the mountain, but also every land in viewable range to the border of the mountains.
Not the bad drawing on the map counts, but the words written down in the treaty, aye.
It's still our realm, nice try crazy frog. When you buy a house its roof belongs to you also, not just the inside of it, right? Same is with the mountains and the area in vieable range.

You eat the wrong Mushrooms? The Castle was builded before Silverbrand were placed where its now is. And we have an Allie or am i wrong? Are you the new King of Silverbrand? I met you 2 Times and i believe that i dont really like you.
You're own Kingdom doesnt declare the oasis is part of their kingdom. I've been nice enough to copy the map they provided to all to see there borders. Take a look.

What does a treaty with Trolls bane have to do with a desert outside there control? they can't tell other territories how to respond with there lands. just as you can't tell Varshikar that any agreement with Trollsbane means anything to us. There's no current Treaty i have on record that pretains to Silverbrand and Varshikar when it comes to the area of the desert. thusly we'll consider the desert region split between the orc's and ourselves. if that isn't to your liking then i suggest you contact the 'proper' people.
Well we all know it belongs to the one....the only....Lord Balren Goldsmith! And before 'tough' people start saying they are going to kill me...i was joking! isn't that wierd?

((please remove those smileys ^^ thank you
BTW this is an RP thread ^^))
Why dont we just leave it a neutral zone?
Its not verry firtile as far as i know unless you have a lust for sand.
The oasis is small and useless to most money making purposes.
