Another Apology
I am deeply regretful and sorry for wanting to create characters of races I've designed. I now understand that not only is there a background I should stick with, but that my ideas suck. I am also sorry for being such a whiny bitch.
I am also starting to think that several of you (Mostly GMs, Poots and Donal) hate me, so I shall just let you feel that way. Wouldn't be the first time people have hated me, but that's another story. Now, if you excuse me, I am going to go punish myself for such stupidity...
(note: if this isn't mature, I don't rightly give a damn. Same thing if its a "poor little me" act, which my own mother says I do all the time. Flame me if you wish, I deserve it...)

I don't personally think we've been too touchy; we just don't fit your expectations. You're used to representatives of games that you pay for where they have to hide their feelings behind professional jargon. We work hard for nothing, and, while we sometimes speak in representative tones, it's not necessarily always going to be the case.
We were players before we were staff members.
That being said, people have said things that they wouldn't say to eachother, expecting us to be professional in our replies. We aren't professionals. We're hobbyists, like you.

In other words GM's are just people too.....people who can delete you if you are bad. hehe. I can only imagine if I had to put up with myself I'd probably me a little touchy too. I mean GMing would be like another full-time job. Expecially at this time of year that has to be stressful. I know this is getting a little off-topic, but.....well.....thanks for all the work you guys put into this game for nothing. I hope that in the future all people who work in Illarion get the understanding they deserve. Whoa where did that all come from?! I think Anne Landers stole my keyboard for a second. On the other hand, we do get to play with lots of neat stuff...
Send all your thanks to the little guys, please. While core developers and GM's get all the fun there are some people who work and don't even get a GM character to PK people with. =)
That would include individuals like:
Cliu Beothach
Keikan Hiru
Lennier
Pendar Fayed
Josefine
Ceigan Ibatha
Manuel (I think he was allowed to tool around with a lich, though.)
The various and numerous testers
and probably others that, but for my forgetful mind and not for my lack of respect, I forgot about.
The downside of being a GM, though, comes in the name. People see your GM name and, while some players bestow you with unneeded extra reverence (alright, it's nice sometimes =) ) there are some people who instead no longer deal with you as if there's a player behind the GM mask. For example, I have a feeling I could move around the boards on more neutral grounds if I used a board account with the name, we'll say, of Slasthulphus.
Even better, if my post had a few barbs in it (and just because I say something sarcastic, cynical, or even downright mean doesn't mean I hate you or that the staff hates you. It means you set me up to say something funny most of the time.) it would be accepted at face value. Now, at best it's considered unprofessional and at worst it's considered the official statement of the staff.

I didn't say all of the GMs hated me. I just meant Japheth. But, I'm over it. And from now on, call me by my real name, Chris. jikken21 is just an alias I use at every website I'm a member at. I'd like my real name to be used when talking to me, although my full name is Christopher Robert Fowler. Just call me Chris.
And Donal, Poots is the guy who plays Allen the halfling smith/thief. He attacked Raina once. Still not a fan of him, but I want to have him in the community I'm creating with the Sims 2 (see the "Come to Faellodion" post in the Off Topic section.) I added Dravish, so why not Allen?.
