The map
Just a question. Who made the map? Was it hand drawn or computer generated? Whatever it is I think it is fantastic and just wanted to tell whomever made it that I thought that it is an excellent map. Sorry if it sounds like I am kissing @$$ here, but I have just never been very good at making map myself and I thought that they did an excellent job.
Well, the map has gone through a lot of hands, actually. I believe it all began with Bror, who, from my understanding, more or less put it together at random. Over the years it evolved as various GM's added and took away various things and as players began to build their own buildings through GM quests.
It came to a point where the map needed expanding and the staff chose to do so at the time of the big wipe. Martin used a handwritten program with the help of MS paint to expand the map several times and it was split into pieces and given to the newly founded map team, at that time Keikan Hiru, Lennier, and Josefine. This was then put together into one file and became roughly the map that you see today. Of course, each GM has placed new things and taken away things for quests.
The next version of the map is being worked on. I'm the lucky man in charge of the mainland and some major changes are going to happen with the map that I think you'll like. Meanwhile, the rest of the (expanded) map team (Keikan Hiru, Lennier, Josefine, Ceigan Ibatha, and Pendar Fayed) work on dungeons, static quests, and other such maps.
Well, long answer to a short question. =)
