IMPORTANT BUG!

The last two days two characters have been destroyed by the server.
This may happen in one of the following cases (very rarely, 3 times in 18 month):
- You leave the client for a certain amount of time, running it in the background
- You use macros to powergame (then its your own fault if you get destroyed)
- Your network connection stops for more than a minute - this may also happen if you are doing a large download in the background.

All this three things MAY cause the error, even if it possibly only occurs in 0,01% of these cases.
To be save:
- stay in the client, log out if you need to do other stuff
- don't use macros
- don't use the network connection for other stuff while you are playing.

Yikes!
What if (since my CPU's are networked) my laptop is downloading...
And I go to my faster computer and play. Then. It's laggy.
Am I in trouble of being deleted? 'GULP'

The two characters that got deleted both also happened to possess the icebird amulets from the Drakhen Vorkalion quest. Is this a pure coincidence or is the icebird amulets cursed with some kind of bug??? :shocked:

It's a conspiracy...

Well, 3 People in 18 Month sonds like less than 0,01% to me since more than one person switches between the client and other application per day (at least I suppose that - if these 3 persons were the only persons who have ever powergamed, made a download while playing or left the client while online, I take my statement back and state that its a 100% quote)

Phew, I wanted to dispay that amulet in my shop...
Cursed thing! I will destroy every last one of them!
Actually they look pretty neat... too bad its bugged.
2 in 2 days sounds pretty scary...
The 3rd sorta messes up the ratio.
Urks... I'm locking my shop's door (whered that come from?) TIGHT.

Well one of the deleted characters had 2 icebird amulets and the other character had 1

i had no icebird amulett....
just my poor flute...

my flute was deletet as my chara was....
i want my flute back.
anyway. thx for retrieving my chara (although fluteless).

in my case it was the switching around bug. i have a hand on this alt tab thing......
