Mit diesem Schreiben möchte ich, Eltareon, Bibliothekar zu Trollsbane, mich bei der Stadtwache über die mangelnde Sicherheit in Trollsbane beschweren. Vor allem was die Maßnahmen gegen Diebe angeht. Ich muss vermelden, das während der letzten Tage mehrere Bücher, welche in bestem Zustand waren, aus der Bibliothek entwendet wurden.
Es sei der Stadtwache nahezulegen, ihre Präsenz zu verstärken um dererlei Abschaum, entgegenzuwirken.

With this letter i, Eltareon, librarian of Trollsbane, want to complain at the town guards, about the lack of securety in Trollsbane. Exspecialy the sanctions versus thiefs. I have to annouce, that during the last days, a thief take a amount of books out of the library. This book had a very good quality.
I want to advice the town guards, to increase their presence against such vermin.

Den Dieb habe ich nicht gesehen, da ich beschäftigt war und er sehr leise und vorsichtig vorgegangen ist. Gestohlen wurde Dublikate der Chronik von Trolls Bane, ein Buch über Landwirtschaft, eines über die Kunst des Färbens. Ein sehr altes, aber gut Erhaltendes Buch über alte Geheimnisse und eines über die Grundlagen der Magie

I didn't saw the thief, because i was busy and he worked very quiet and careful. He stole doubles of the chronicals of Trolls Bane, a book about farming, another one about the are of Dying. A very old, but good obtained book about ancient secrets and one book about the basics of magic.

sicherlich habt Ihr das Feuer, welches vor kurzem in der Bibliothek gelegt wurde nicht vergessen. Es sind dabei einige wenige Bücher verbrannt. Welche es waren ist leider nicht mehr festzustellen gewesen.

Das Feuer habe ich nicht vergessen. Nachdem es gewütet hat, habe ich den Bücherbestand überprüft und in der Tat, wurden einige Bücher zerstört. Allerdings fehlen jetzt weitere.

I didn't forget the fire. After it take place, i checked the book. Some were distroyed, of cause. But now there are missing more books.

Apparently there is a large demand for reading in Trollsbane.

Did the person who took the books leave his library card?
