Geatest RPG moments
I am not spamming threads, Its just that this wouldn't fit into the other threads, anyway, post your favourite Role-playing moment here, mine is when I logged on and found the castle I was in packed with soldiers, and the castle was under siege, I didn't take part in the battle, me being a noob and all.
Oh and by the way, does anyone know any good fighting teachers, and teachers at cooking.

I have had so many they would be hard to list...
Last nights battle was the most fun i have had in a quest for a very long time
. It was simply amazeing to see a real battle, a real demon army attack.
How ever finest moments I would have to go back to nights in the tavern with Sian and Farel. Pendar's courtship of Caitlin and my dealings with Aristeaus.
The old wars against the blood skulls where great as well oh really there have been so many amazing moments and quests.
I would say once every two weeks I have a most memorable rp moment and thats only speaking for one of my characters.

well my favorite was the old bloodskulls. Playing as Grutok was awesome, he was cought up in things he didnt believe in fighting for but he still did because of his oath.
yesterdays was awesome! i had never really be a part of a true battle in illarion untill this. There were many small fights or massacures (like the one where the entire town baracated them selves on one side of the grey rose castle bridge and a few blood skulls attacked them, to say the least it was sad) but none that were like this.

They just happen spontaniously first step is to form a relationship to your own character. As what makes an amazeing moment is being immersed in ones own character, some of the moments were only so great as I could nearly taste it.How long does it normally take to have a wonderful RPG moment?
The use of actions and adopting your character for those hours your online is what makes the rp amazing for me. Get into your character and as soon as you find some one else who is equally emersed and using descriptive rps and inventive ideas.
Amazing moment 101

I had a very good moment today, during the collapsing-speaking-castle in Varshikar.
But I think the best rpg moment I had until today was with Chak, during another quest the castle was collapsing. Chak entered a hole to help Aristeaus and the other, but they had already left through a tunnel. And when Chak followed, the roof broke in some parts and blocked all exits. That was when the Golem that saved the castle appeared. Wonderful, simply wonderful.

Mind you, most people know what he speaks off. Some of my best RP sprouted from 1 on 1 RP sessions. =)Kevin Lightdot wrote:LOL "private" ey? and "intense"? ... PervertNop wrote: A best moment of another kind was some pretty intense "private" roleplaying outside of any quests.
I had one that lasted only 2 minutes, if you do not count the preconditions that were already there.it can be anywhere from 10 minutes to 10 hours Wink

-Fooling around with Fieps and Zasmia
-Throwing cherries at Kalypse and being thanked for by the munching elfess
-Spawn camping at Drakhen's castle
-Powerga..., erm, traini..., uhm,... with Muten Roshi (Hail Muten!)
-Threatening Darlok
-Having a nice chatter with Cain Freemont in Drakhen's castle; surrounded by demonz and the archlich himself
-Facias!
-Raiding the gold mine with Caranthir and the boyz
-Reskilling Nartak
-Kicking Ashburg's ass, slaying Elaralith
-Everything with Twania Green involved

Most of my greatest moments were during the courtship of my hippie-elf (:D) Arynne and Dravish, the now-lich. Ahhhh, good times =)
'Ve had some really interesting moments as well with Illarion's 'night crew'...the people on between midnight and 5am EST. Kamik Windslasher, Revlen, Bailey Thunnigan, and I... man, we used to take turns chasing trolls, getting mortally wounded, being tended to by other warriors that didn't know a lick about healing, and being begged emotionally not to die.
Ahh, man, that was so corny that it rocked =)

- ¤ My first day. The entire Athian and Aristeaus thing, from my first day on. No one ever showed me such good RP as those two, and I never felt so special in game as I did back then.
¤ Getting thrown into the spirit world with Nilo. Pretty much any time spent with Hagen. Val BEFORE the dead man leg...
¤ Spending any time with Alora, she was Quin's best friend and the funnest female in the entire game. I miss Galim. *cries* He was so fun to hug!
¤ Oh and the day Maj died. That was... well emotional to say the least. She really loved Pendar.
-Some of the stuff during the Bloodskull war
-When Fooser and the other lizard took over varshikar for 2 days. I remember a human coming up and Fooser was like "who the heck are you", and he kept knocking him off his chair onto the floor, and it was Arist lmaolmaoooo
-Being in prison for like 2 straight months, and messing with people outside
-Chilling with Ark, Val, Pends, Paul, Salathe, lots of people
-Onionball of course

Brian
Today was certainly close. Had a very long discussion with a certain lady, though another nameless hobbit tried his best to ruin it for us. Not sure if its the character or the player though.
I used to play over at a place called hiddenworld. Best times there was when I managed to steal another guys woman, the guy happening to be the son of the most feared scourge yet seen to date. He refused to kill me despite the fact he already lost her heart, thinking she would only scourn him further. My character got his rear handed to him time and again, but it was great.

Oh, and so I don't get labeled a spammer (too late, I know

Also... every single campfire moment. I miss those tremendously.
Oh yeah, and Estralis said it best:

Was I the only one who enjoyed Elaralith's roleplay? Ah well.
Hmm, most of Twania and Estralis' quest.
The drought.
The Halfling-Darlok/Zerbus/Arkadia "war."
Hermie setting the library on fire.
The resolution of the drought in the realm of the Spirits.
Hopping onto Roshi's back, along with Reda.
Most recently, I've enjoyed musing on the nature of "wells" with Fooser.
