Yes, before Pendar all guards were required to take an oath before full service, I am the only guard who has ever taken that oath, therefore I am the only recognised guard, now with the exception of Bailey, who has been suspened for starting a fight, and oath breaking, and Culandia, who I promoted yesterday.
All you have to do is say the oath, there is no need to remain without it longer than neccisary.

Even in your own signature you write, "Temporary commander of the Town Guard." If you are temporary, what gives you the right to completely recreate the Town Guard in your own image. You should be seeking to maintain Pendar's view until he is able to speak for himself, not your own. If Pendar chose not to make guards take an oath, then this should remain as so until he is able to change it himself.

Cain,
When I did nothing to change the guard, you complained.
When I try to change the guard, you complain.
So please untill you sort out what you want within your head, and contribute more to town than an angry wasp, I may even consider your words in future.
Callith
ps, Your drow brethern are hassling Vanima, perhaps you should go and help them.

Callith,
Speaking of my heritage is a low blow, you scum. You know I've nothing to do with them. I think that your lead of the Town Guard has just fed your arrogance. I have only said these things to try to prevent you from driving the Town Guard further into the ground. I want to look out for Pendar, not you, or your reputation, or the rest of the Town Guard's reputation. Your reputation can be damned for all I care. While I would like to see the Town Guard turn into a more respectable sect, if it is not going to be abolished, I know it will not be done with you in control. If you cared about your pure-blood heritage being hassled, you would do something about it, so do not suggest that I do anything for or against Vanima.

If you'd look at the official list (in guilds) you would find that you are wrong.
Devrah,
Fine.
Cain,
I don't care about my reputation, I do what I need to do, the town guard needs a reform, and these reforms are a painful process. So again, decide what you really want, you don't want me to abloish it, however you also don't want me changing it, therefore you must want it to remain the same, with our streets patrolled by exassassins, and who knows what else. I also don't care much for the elves on Vanima, however I thought you had several close friends among them.

Why do the guards need reform Callith? You say because there have been so many incidents about guard abuse, yet nearly half of those incidents involve you. The town of Trolls Bane faced every obstacle under Pendar Fayed's leadership and guard fine. Yet Pendar is in a coma and you are changing things so Trolls Bane falls under your sway. Your military state.

You know nothing about this new military action. Do not judge without having all your facts straigh. This acction is needed as the skeletons that attacked town today had war axes on them. The key word here being war.
Rumour has it that Dravish is preparing an army. I think it only wise that we should do the same before time runs out and we are caught off guard and defenceless. This is not the time to be quarling over who did what in the past. This is a time to take action and defend that which we hold dear.
Please try to help the cause, rather than judging and ridiculing a single person. There is no need to attack Callith for his actions when none of you really put in any possitive suggestions. This town needs to stick together now and work as a team, rather than single out Callith. It is up to all of us, not just him.

I don't think people would have been so ready to posit criticism if it weren't for the criticism towards the dear town leader and Captain posited by Callith. I don't mean to be yet another one causing undue trouble, but perhaps if Callith would simply apologize for any cruel words about the other guardsmen and Pendar (especially Pendar, who can't defend his point of view right now) we could all give him our blessing more easily.
As a town, I think we all really like Pendar, because even though he was in charge of the town he treated us all like equals and spent time with us all equally. We're all very quick to defend him, especially now; after all the times he defended us, now he can't defend himself.
We are all looking forward to the guard peaceabley becoming more unified to stand up against the threats posed at our city I think it can be said for the vast majority of us, but the key word is "peaceable." We want to be able to believe that power hasn't been rested from the weakened hands of our leader, but the words spoken here on the wall are not the words of peace or the words of reverence.
I pray for our city, for our guard, and for our beloved leader, Pendar,

Calilmal walks up to the board and sighs slightly as she reads through the messages. She holds her head in though then takes out a quill, a paper and a bottle of ink.
"Yet again I trouble myself within the towns buissness. If we all could just skip the part where you blame, for exaple, Callith for all the trouble here.. I did not say he was the troublemaker, nor anyone else. But Dravish have been knocking at our door for too long now. He is soon going to break the door and take everything he sees when he gets inside. I have done research and noticed on an old scroll that these kind of skeletons or any undead, is very weak against blessings and different kinds of priest/priestess magic. Shandariel was able to fend Dravish off by praying to Sirani. I would be glad to see that you put down the blades for a moment and simply pray to the god of your choice to help you under this."

I will not apologise for speaking the truth, and I will not apologise for being blunt, Pendar is my best friend, however that does not stop him from being lazy, yes he spent his time among you people, but to make them time for that he failed to the essential tasks he was supposed to. It can take me a week of reminding him every time I see him, to get him to make an announcement that he had orinially planned to make a month before. I have nothing to apologise for, as anything I have said, I've already told the people concerned.

This is true Calilmal. I myself saw the reaction of Dravish towards prayer. It might be a good idea to get all the priests and all others who believe in a god to pray for the town in a united bond. This will bring the town closer together and unite us all under a common goal, to protect the town and its people we hold so dear.
I will take it up with Callith. Perhaps we can come to an agreement on a date and a meeting place. I feel that this might be a way for those who are not strong fighters to join hands with the ones protecting the town with their blades. We all can make a difference in this town. Those considered weak are not always the weak. Each of us has our stronger points. When this town finally stands as a unit before its enemies and leave the past behind us, we will defeat Dravish and Drakhan will see there is no place for him in our home.
I see each citizen of Trolls bane as a family member. For that is what Trolls bane is to me, my family. If we all can learn to put the judgement of those trying to protect this town behind us and work as a unit. This town, this family will rein supreme above the dark forces that threaten to take all we know away from us.
I thank each member of Trolls bane for listening to my point of view and I pray for each of you to be protected through this time. I swore an oath, and I will live by that oath. If any of you do have problems, know that you can always seek me out and I shall deal with the problem with discretion. Even if it is only some support you need, the rest of the guard and I are there for you, not for us or the glory.
