My apologies if this is too late, but perhaps the entrance to vanima could be easier to get to. What i mean by this is that, it's entrance isn't that obvious, perhaps if the entrance was on the southern side (same with the docks), it would be much easier to find, and look better on the eye
This may sound kind of odd, but would it be possible to put in huge trees that offer an unlimited supply of fruits (EG Cherrys and Apples) in the forest and near vanima? The depletion of cherry trees is sickening. And that makes it hard to find berrys to regrow.

My apologies, Giandor, but none of that seems to be the sort of input I'm looking for. I'm not a programmer; I'm but a simple mapper.
However, most of the terrain areas will be the same, they'll just be more detailed. There will be more buildings in Trollsbane, however, and that is where you'll likely get lost for a bit.
Yes, I also have a wish. Keep the library! And make it to a real big one. With shelves over 2 floors. Just a wish
And more ways would be nice.
And maybe you could make one of these lovly signpost for official buildings so every new Illarionist can see what a building it is.
No. It was because of the change in server, not the scripting language. We didn't have the time in our days to keep every last bit of information on your characters or the space to store them between the old server and the new.
In any case, I like to consider what is going to happen as all the good parts of the wipe without all the bad parts. You'll keep your characters, skills, coin, and items, but you get a whole better environment to rp in.
If Jeremy can keep his forest, would it be possible for Mirluin and I to keep our Glade of Auk' Estel? Not only would it take time to chop and replant trees, but we had a bit of gm help with it too, so with a new map mushroom rings and the blooming cierdan tree we were given would be hard to get back. It's in the southern woods below trollsbane. It doesn't have to look the same of course, just a simple glade that looks a bit tended and all.
But I leave this up to you, Aeghol. You are the one managing the time and effort. We will make do with what you wish and I hope I haven't asked too much or commented out of place.
Not to worry, Luincale. This shouldn't be too hard to work out one way or another. (After all, there are a certain few fairies who wouldn't want to lose their pretty glade, right?)
I am glad that you are considering leaving this feature, it is important to Mirluin's character - and to others : )
As for it being in the Southern Wood, I wanted to make it clear that the intention was to have it in a place that was wild and dangerous, as a sort of haven. That is why the trees are so thick around it, etc.
It seems to me that a place of magical feel and peaceful beauty can be more striking and wonderful when set amid a darkness and danger - one must pass through danger to arrive there.
I understand if you must move it for reasons I do not understand, but it would be wonderful if it could remain in a wood that has 'wild dangers' in it, if at all possible.
The Southern Woods are losing their dangers, you see. It was always the intent that the Troll Woods were farther East, and that those woods are the woods of the gnomes (and we're talking as though we might actually have gnomes by then, pheet!) The Northern Woods, on the other hand, with their wild fairies, are quite a bit more dangerous. While the Troll Woods and the Eastern Woods might be too dangerous for what you're looking for.
