I NEED HELP! My screen goes black and a message pops up.

the message says I quote " The server isnt working with your client version! It could be too old or too new! Download a new one or check back later." I donwloaded mine off the download site and I dont know how to download a new one. So if anyone could help me that would be great

Did you downlaod the right version? Which one did you dl and what OS do you use?

Operating System. Which Windows are you using. If XP, do you have Service Pack 2, etc..

try uninstalling and re-install it. If you've connect b4, save your char data folders.

then try re-downloading and reinstalling...may have had trouble with the dl and missed a file or something, have seen it happen with other games.

I tried un-installing it and re-installing it and it still says the same thing. What does it mean when it says to load it from the directory? All it says is

And do I have to unzip something because it says that somewhere. Also when I install it do I run it or save it?

You dont need to unzip it, it dls as a self-extracting .exe file. Try running it from C:\Progam File\Illarion\Illarion.exe

That may work, if not, try a new dl of it.
