Mental meaning (something like) 'of the mind'. Or in other words the situation of your mind. You admit to, or at least refer to, feelings of depression. And guess what depression is?
hmm...shovel?

You had to spend I-dont-know how many years as a squire.. 10 i think... AND i think squires had to be 16...Tonkin wrote:young boys became squires and apprentices at around 10..
And squires didn't mean fighting,,, it meant:
Cleaning armor
Taking care of Horses
---
And children should be children... (except elves); I really liked the RP of the game of catch (Zazo, Olar.. and i forgot whom); and the reason mothers don't let children use kitchen knives is because they'll cut themselves.. but swords are ok right...
Also theif children just robbed, they didn't kill the victim first

I dont even know emily well in game so this is not aimed at you, Olivia. Rest assured if it was i wouldnt bother wish such a disclaimer
My only problem with kids playing warriors is simple the day i see one of these "kids" take down an oger or turn there blade on me and kill one of my relatively skilled armored characters I will be concerned.
I myself intend pendar to tutor Rhiannon in the use of a blade, how ever I would hope and can nearly gurantee the PO would not use much more than a light blade and leather armor. As such it is unlightly she would kill any one who is actually "dangerouse".
All i ask players of young characters to do is remember that just because you could give your kid 18 strength and dex. Does not mean they have it yet, much the same for constitution. When X matures he she may be tough as nails how ever bear in mind while they mature they are far more frail, weak etc than that 16-18 stat they will one day grow into.

Hadrian. Think about this.
A pig is a domesticated farm animal. It is fed so that it becomes fat. Then it is slaughtered for meat. I would assume that many children would learn to slaughter a pig. Farmers used to do it all the time, and sometimes still do. I'd imagine that children become less sensitive towards the slaughter of pigs VERY quickly.

Actually killing pigs is less stressfull than killing chickens. Pigs just die with a scream sometimes, but chickens will chase you-well it seems that way when you are young. My brother and I used to help my grandmother with the chickens and she would always cut off their head instead of ringing their necks just to watch us chase the headless chickens. I went rabbit hunting the first time when I was 9 and killed a rabbit and have been squirrel hunting every year since I was 12, so killing domesticated farm animals is no problem at 10.
