Ways of Lizards
Lizards have not been unified much on this island, and our numbers have never been that large, but being together is important. Most lizards believe in the ways of Zelphia, the wise Goddess of water. Many have never even seen lizardmen before, that is mostly because we live under the water, on islands, and in isolated places. The underwater cities of our kind are usually surrounding a large temple, which is very important for every day life.

Ways of Zelphia
Zelphia is the wise Goddess than many of our kind follow. She is the Goddess of Water, along with beliefs in wisdom, righteousness, and healing. All of the world and magic flow together, and life stems from the Goddess. Lizards who follow these beliefs also believe that upon death, they must cross a long sea to salvation, and those who have been good might receive a boat for this journey, but those who are not receive heavy stones to carry across this sea, and if they have too many, they must wait for the merciful to come and aid them.

The following is written in the lizard language
I will always be willing to support the spirit of community within the lizard population--especially when that spirit is in the name of Zelphia, our wise Mother and Goddess.

We, the lizard community, stand against the most challenges. Such things as come natural to land-dwellers seem quite foreign to our people. I still remember the first time that I was offered a clay goblet of water, and I was entirely unsure of what to do with it. Always, I remembered being fully submerged--as much a part of our Mother's healing waters as those waters are a part of the ocean.

If you would accept an old woman, such as I, so near the times when lizards sleep and dream of their Mother, than I shall be a member of this community, and do my best to invite others.

3 islands in the middle of a lake, the larger one being a temple to Tanora.. no bridges, instead we are asked to swim across ((similar to teleport used in dock?))

This is kind of interesting, because this was started kind of as a test to see how many lizards were on the island, and willing to join, and no one joined until recently, where I see many are interested.

If the lizards would like to gather to discuss, or do anything, then it seems possible right now, if everyone wishes to do so.

Let me clarify for you.

The Knights of Kallahorn are building a town for the good of the People. It will not be only knights who live there. But the Knights will be it's protecter and it will be their Base. a Town guard will be erected later on. But until then. You get the point.

It is my hope that I can make such a meeting, but I have just recently returned from a pilgrimage in the depths. My aging legs and tail are simply worn out and I feel as though it is important for me to meditate on what I have learned.

If I cannot make it, perhaps my sister will go in my place to tell me of what was said and to represent me.

It occurs to me that to build a village at this point would be the reverse of the way things are done, for central to our villages below is the temple, and so should it be above.

To the far east we have a shrine, upon which stands a statue left by the lizards who inhabited this island before man (And yes. We were here first. Ask the scholar, Markous.) This statue is a gift to us, not only from our ancestors who lived upon this island, but from our Great Mother--that which makes us what we are, and that which makes us brothers and sisters, children of Her.

There, in the east, we could build a glowing temple to our Mother--for our worship needs, but also for the worship needs of sympathetic surface-dwellers. From there, it would only be natural that the city would build itself, for it is in our blood that we strive to be closer to the Mother.

I am currently on a religious voyage; and living alone in the wilderness to help mediate on serving Mother more. I will do my best to arrive at the meeting, but it is beyond my control if I am ready or not

I suggest that we build our city off the shore, a kind of floating city? with a large temple to Mother in the middle

Having read what i have written, I think i called the meeting 12 hours too early. A mistake I made, not used to time above the water.

Did anyone attend the ((8:00AM)) meeting? For there was no-one at ((20:00))..

It is apparent that any agreement must be made in writing here, i will prepare a parchment and attach it to here when i am done.
