Death of a loved one
There she lays, lifeless and limp, death by an unknown cause. There lied a small child, with her whole life ahead of her. There lied Mortanyia Celleachan-Nethiala.

Emily walked away trying to pretend it never happened. Why had she just left like that? Everyone died around her and she just kept on living. Day after day someone died someone failed. I will not leave these people she said to herself. I will grow up to protect them. I will grow up to stop these deaths. I will someday be able to help. Emily looked up at her now growing Orchard and began to dig a hole. It grew deeper and deeper but she continued to dig. She knew that what she was burying this time would need to be more than a seedling. It would have to be big enough to take Morty's place. Emily kneeled in thought and examined the spot that she had dug. "I cannot replace you Morty" she said quietly, and she began to fill in the space once again. No matter how big a hole i dig, no matter how many sprouts I bury, no matter what I put in this spot, it will never ever replace you Mortanyia. Never ever. Emily filled in the last bit of ground in and she walked off in the distance.

The man sits alone in the tavern, a shrouded corner where he trys to keep away from his fellow drinkers. The usual mirth on the young mans lips is replaced by a look of resignition.
Morty, Maeve gone.. Pendar in a state of sorrow, Culandria grieving her lost love, Marie not to be seen.
Farel finishes his beer in a single long mouthfull and places the mug with his collection of others, the slight tinkle which usually gave him cause to smile just added to the gloom over the mans head.
What had happned to Morty, damnation. This isle was falling apart, and who will care enough to find out what happned, Callith maybe..
