Hello I Am Sir Fremnick. My Account Hasnt Been Accepted yet but when it does i plan to make a dwarven male blacksmith who is also a good fighter. If anybody Could 'Show me the ropes' so to speak? I also need a friend

(Do they have friends list on illarion?)

Do you mean a player as friend, or are you just trying to find a friend for your character ?

You need to know that these two things have to be seperated strictly.

For example this is a so called OOC (Out of Character) board, where the players speak to each other.
RPG and Guild boards are roleplay boards, where your character can raise his/her voice (but never the player).

Heh, you'll make plenty of friends, no doubt you'll find a friendly member of the Kallahorn Knighthood, (as we are online constantly), somewhere in Trolls Bane to help you. There is no friend list on Illarion, but it doesnt really matter, as it is more realistic not to have a friend list, if you need to contact a friend you can get his MSN account name or you can just PM him on these forums.

Lets take Garetts posting here as an example, since he didn't gasp this concept to the fully.

He just implanted into your (the players) head the knowledge that there is a group called "Kallahorn Knighthood" and that they are normaly found in the area of the Town called "Trollsbane".
Let's assume Garret wants you to look for these things.

Now we just learned that we have to seperate the player and the character in these matters.

So the knowledge, stored in your (the players) head, is not allowed to be implanted in your characters mind.
So your character is not allowed to know these both things.
At least not this way.

It would be different when you would have read about these group of character on a roleplay board.
In this case your character is aware of everything your read there.

No offense against you Garett, but that was just too fitting as perfect example to let it be wasted.

well they dont have friends list and you start without knowing evryone when you meet them and ask for their name or they do tell them and after that type a centince with only #i and they will automaticly know your name or when they dont but you still want to remember them type !name (his number) (and the name you want to give them) and when you talk out of character (ooc) use these (( your message )) preferebly wispering using #w before your centance
and when you want to say like (yourname) beats the apple tree with a stick type #me infront of the centence
and ingame itself well i dont know about blacksmithing im a tailor i make clothes
and when you talk act medival dont go running around: yooo dood how you been mon

man i wold kill for a sword
say: Greetings friend can i buy a sword from you im pretty desparete ?
and i have one more piece of advice dont buy to mutch at the beggining
and if you want to earn the most ... get your own supplies for it (i havent been playing for long myself so i dont know evrything myself yet?)

hope you understand it a bit

if you want to ask anything else just do so

dont think : my god thats a stupid question cuz it wold be more stupid when bugging other ppls roleplay in game

WoW get's boring after some time. I've wasted over 50 days of pure playtime, but then it became boring. My guild has defeated Ragnaros and Onyxia, and Blackwinglair isn't really a new challenge.

Illarion, I play for three years now, and it never became boring at all.
