Stubborn
Emily Xahep sits tied to a rock.Her hand hangs limp at her side and her face is cut and bruised.Why had she not stopped when he hit her? why had she kept on talking? She could've been free but she had told him she would tell them to kill him.Why had she not stopped?Emily grimaced in pain thinking about her broken hand."I wish it was all over" she mumbled quietly. She remembered her fight with Faladron this morning and a tear ran down her face. I wonder if he's worried.I wonder if he's scared.Sylathen I wonder how he feels about this. He's always so tired,i'm just another job for him to take care of.Finally Emily's thoughts came back to the note earlier.Finding that letter had been like a night mare but reading it had been worse.She had not tried to do anything wrong she didn't even remember but she knew she was going to do it again.It was there like a constant sick feeling in her stomach.Please don't find me she thought, leave me here. this is what I deserve for what I have done.More tears ran down her face as she slipped from conciousness...

Thalgul slipped into his dreams. Tho they wouldent be what everyone expected... His dreams were back on the farm, he was happy and wealthy, there were a few slaves in the farm, and Rhiannon and her mother picked fruit together, laughing and chasing each other the yard. One could say this was the only relief he got from his life.. He sometimes wondered why he picked up that first bottle of beer.
As Sylathen arrives in varshikar he slows down to a steathly pace. His Falcon lands on his shoulder. He walks into town not seeing anyone and mumbles to himself:
"where are you emily.."
He turns the corner of another building being as quiet as he can but finds nothing..

A little distance from the gates of Troll's Bane, another warrior is returning from a trip. His mind is on the items he has to sell and the price they might fetch in the shop when he notes the running Sylathen. He becomes more alert and hails him.
Sylathen is reluctant to loose even those few seconds required for an answer. But the word "... kidnapped ..." muttered under his breath is enough. Adigar falls into a trot and trails after Sylathen, his face grim and his eyes full of unpleasant promises for those who will prey on helpless children.

Emily awakes to the prick of a claw on her forehead."slzar?"she whispers.The bird hops off as if awaiting something.Emily thinks remembering the first day she came to trollsbane.She remembered Sylathen coming up to her and saying If you ever are in trouble send this bird to find me.Emily smiles at the bird and whispers its your turn to be a hero Slzar. Go find Syla...
Daniel wakes up slowly and begins to look around
"Emily...?"
Tries to look around the rock to see if she's there. He sees no one and assumes that the man had left as well.
"Emily...?"
Hearing no response he looks to the ground hoping to find something he can use to cut the rope. He lifts a small jagged stone up with his foot and tries to kick it up. He does this numerous times it lands between his back and the rock. He tries to puch his body forward so he can let the stone loose and it falls to his hand. He begins to cut the rope and after a few minutes its cut through. He steps away from the rock expecting to see emily still tied up as well.
"I got free Emily! Give me a second and i can..."
He turns to see that Emily isnt there. He is shocked. Where did she go? Did someone save her? Why didnt they save him too? He tried not to, but Daniel couldnt help but curl up and cry
A few minutes later he realizes the man might come back, so pulls himself together and heads off... he doesnt know where he is or which way to go to get back to town..
"Emily...?"

he bends down and kisses her forehead gently.

"Why can't I never be around if she's in danger" he slowly whispers towards himself, shaking his head while speaking.
"I'm a shame towards all parents... this orc did have a point" he ponders while closing his eyes.
Sadness and sorrow forming the expression on his face.
Then he hears some voices and footsteps, he opens his eyes to see Sylathen and... -yes it's her!- Emily.
He feels petrified and can't move.
Then after the lizard left and she noticed his presence, he snaps out of it and runs towards her.
"Emily! Oh thank gods... Emily" he drops down to his knees and embraced her tightly,
his eyes sparkling and some tears running down his cheeks.
"I'm so glad you're alright" he whispers towards her and holds her in his arms for what he thinks forever.
"Why can't I never be around if she's in danger" he slowly whispers towards himself, shaking his head while speaking.
"I'm a shame towards all parents... this orc did have a point" he ponders while closing his eyes.
