Eh... If I could bring back all the people I used to play with, I would come back indefinitely. Its not that I don't want to give new people a chance, its that I don't want to have the possibility of getting so enveloped in the game again that I forget those who first made me feel welcome, and those I first considered friends in and out of game.Salathe wrote:cain come back! bring helios with you
I'll probably never really leave the forums, but the game is one thing I might never return to. There are a couple of things in the game, too, that I probably still wouldn't like.. immensely.. like the distance it takes to get places now due to the huge map, having to travel so far (or rely on trade of others) to get items from places like Greenbriar and such. I'm not saying these things are bad additions to the game.. I'm saying that I don't have the time to walk around for 3 hours looking for someone who can sell me a bucket (just an example). That's too slow of RP for me.

You can use now magical books wich are creating portals to the other towns. and later, when magic is back, magicians can teleport you around.like the distance it takes to get places now due to the huge map, having to travel so far (or rely on trade of others) to get items from places like Greenbriar and such. See, I've already missed so much. Jumping in now would just be so.. blah. There's no way I could do it with Cain.. I just couldn't. I'd have to go through the process of making a new character, something that I don't really want to do since Cain has been my only actively used character since I started playing this game. Plus, Galim, you make it sound like magic can't even be used (not to mention learning magic last I heard was a huge pain in the ass), so it would be improbable for me to make a character that I'll like for longer than an hour. Not to mention, I'd wager it is damn near impossible to start a new character these days, since items break so easily and materials are harder to come by. I feel almost sorry for entirely new players, in that sense.Galim wrote:You can use now magical books with greats portals to the other towns. and later, when magic is back, magicians can teleport you around.like the distance it takes to get places now due to the huge map, having to travel so far (or rely on trade of others) to get items from places like Greenbriar and such. Blah. If its anything like the last system, I know it won't bring me back. Like I said earlier though, I'll probably be hanging around this forum forever.. Hinting at something exciting or new or amazing doesn't catch my interest. I'm more of a man who wants to see things for himself, or actually be able to comprehend what is so "exciting."

The old magic system? Or are you talking about the magic system from before you needed ink, a teacher, and all that crap that "promotes RP?" -_-"
I don't care about the graphics of the magic system, really. Its not going to be like EverQuest II or Guild Wars or anything, so its not much to get excited about, in all honesty. What I would like is a system that is simplistic, but not pointlessly easy. And from what I understand, the revamping of the old fighting system into the new one has just left people asking which other, new stats they should max out.
Edit: Galim, words of assurance with no base of example just don't help me much. I'm not absorbed in that world anymore, so it takes more than just "its gonna be good, just be patient" to excite me.

You're not allowed to divulge information that is available to the players? Its good to know that I've been removed from people's minds as a player/user.Hadrian_Abela wrote:We are not allowed to give details of anything that comes in order not to 1) Take the fun away

But it IS going to be nice
