There are, they are called "logic".There should be some guidance rules about things that aren't implemented
I have seen chars who always avoided to be caught by using #me dodges (when I did an rp attack) or #me struggles free (when being grabbed by three people).
I have also seen chars, always whispering their abilities to me (and NO, that was none of Galims chars) and it really annoyed me after some time, because the player was quite pushy with it.

What I want to say is, we have always both extremes on every side, and certain rules will not do anything here, since #me acting is variable from player to player and no one can tell you what the "perfect" roleplay is. One is always just acting in certrain guidelines.
So, always try to find a good middle. In my eyes, a single, simple and short #me is not enough to do a real rp fight or capturing/breaking out. You could use the technical system too then.
