OOC: "Murdur at Greyrose"

What should i say? I'm a little annoyed because of this topic.

There are some reasons, that this, what is written down there, can't happen.

1. The Grey Rose Castle is normaly closed. We can't close is technicaly...but it is RP closed. So it is impossible that Alica come into the castle and sleep there. If they would speak with the members of the Grey Rose before this thing...okay. But no one knows about this before.

2. A lizard walking throw the castle unseen. Hrm... Knights... Castle Guards. All of them are blind? Exspecialy the Castle Guards walk throw the castle. But no one writes anything about them. Well you can say you don't know that there are guards. But you have to ask the Grey Rose before you use this castle for something like this.

3. A lizard that disappears into nothing. I don't like Chars with spezial abilities of this typ. This sounds to me like you need a explanation for loggin off, when someone hunts you. And this something we don't see very gladly.

As for number three, i have had it discussed were lizards have no color changing abillitys. But they can pop off their tail as far as im concerned - if any one is interested.

So ... how long does the Knighthood have to be around to get "invisible" members. As there aren't real castle guards ingame, so when can I start roleplaying various unknown pages or squires ? Or is that implied ? Rather interested.

Thats not what he means dear. The members of the Grey Rose are always members. They live there, eat there, sleep there. You think that just because the player is not online the chars disappear? They take turns sleeping and guarding the castle. They used to be able to lock the doors but they can't right now and so they have to RP that it's locked up at night. Invisible locks and invisible guards roaming the halls are just the same as someone RPing that they have a black flute or a baby. ;]

Its not excess, and you're not listening. Its the existing knights and members that are not online but still their chars exist in the game. Its the chars of the people that are working and sleeping guarding the gates and halls. No made up guards, they're real characters you meet in the game. And when you have a castle you can do the same thing.

I have met the Knight, but I have never met the castle guards. I am pretty sure those are people they made up.

I am not argueing Nitram here, it was a serious question, as if I started to write on RPG boards about Stephen sending pages and squires around protecting people, it would seem that the Knighthood was larger then it actually is.

1. Becuase.. that is were she was exsploring and said "this castle is too cold! This castle is to hot! This castle is just right" and the three lizards came home and killed her.

2. The PO wanted to play another account. But she regrets her dieing now.

Trolls Bane has a nice inn. Called sea horse. Gerard noticed this nice place

.. And yes, it is quite weird that she chose the Grey Haven, but then again, she has stayed their for a long time.probably around a week.

And all the rooms in the Inn are "full" actually..so it would be kinda hard to sleep their

Its the Grey Refuge. The Grey Havens is a place in the world of Tolkien, not Illarion.

Haven and Refuge could be swapped around, because they are synonyms I suppose. It is not the same as the Grey Havens, and I am certain he knows.

A ring is not a trinket, mind you. Not necessarily atleast. And, there is no official name for die Graue Züflucht, so in essence, both names would suffice.

It is more the setting it was done in. I must agree, the local Troll's Bane Inn would have been way more suitable. Even Misjbar was allowed in there.

It is called "Grey Refuge" / "Graue Zuflucht" by the people who build the castle and named it.
It is owned by the guilds of Grey Rose and Grey Light.
Maybe there aren't members of these guilds around in american time zone, because most of them are german players.

Hmmmm.
Maybe little Alica went to take a walk and when she noticed was already too dark and the doors of the castle were closed. Then she wandered nearby, pondering if going or not to Troll's Bane, when the lizard came.

Just a suggestion.

Thinking logically helps a lot. Most people play the game thinking virtually. Not that it is an obligation to anyone, we are supposed to have fun. But when these kind of events happen and a part is displeased, well, we can only sit and speak.
But... who am I to judge?

Okey just shut up okey? I mean, listen to ME for a second!!!

As far as i know, and i have been playing for some months now, i have seeb Grey Rose Castle as open for public!! I have never ever seen a knight nor seen a guard. When the town got overgrown we and many others fled tp the castle and what happened??? NOTHING!! Were we stopped by guards and eaten by plants? NO! We were sitting INSIDE the castle without any persons asking why we were there not even stopping us at the door or Delighting the situation with their precence!!

I killed my char cause i had reasons OOC to! Stop complaining allready!!
And if someone more than adrian tries to correct my bad spelling i will get really angry! (you know what i mean adrian) And yes, i moved to the castle. When i moved, were there any knights nor guards seen in that whole week? NO! I moved there since I was kicked out of town and to be in Varshikar i need to pay taxes, Tol Vanima was too far to RP move there in some minutes since i was running from Stephen!! And a town of halflings, hey, come on. am a human!!! And Silverbrand was i not even thinking about since they got their own dwarf as a door guard! Now if you like to post angry messages about my RP, DO SO!! GET IT OFF YOUR MIND AND BLAME THE YOUNG!! DO THAT!

you seem really pissed off. what is understandable after what happened to your char. but it would be better to stop with posting until you are calm again.
