Concerning the murder of the boy Eire

Post by Devrah Liioness »

--A parchment on the wall--

I have been confronted several times about the supposed killing of a young boy called Eire by myself and Kamik Windslasher. I post here on these walls to announce that the rumor is not true, that I never even met this boy, nor did Kamik. I am disgusted that such lies would be spread about us, and even more disgusted that some of you believe it.

I never thought you did Devrah, but for the sake of the boy, i followed his story and found his Accusations false. If anyone else would like to Question me about my findings, feel free. As for Devrah and Kamik, they are no more guilty than me. So please. Calm yourself.

Kamik notices a new parchment on the wall, but he is not in the mood to read it now. Instead, he decides to read some lines of his diary - it has been some time since he last wrote there, he knows. But the loss of his left hand makes it difficult to put his thoughts in paper.
He reads the first pages and stops on a sentence written by Devrah long ago. He then feels an odd sensation of deja vu, but it's not about those lines: it's about the handwritting. He raises his head to the new parchment on the wall - the handwritting is the same.
He stuffs the diary inside his bag and goes the the wall. After reading it, he takes a deep breath and stares at his cloak, covering his left side and arm.
With much effort and an odd handwritting, he tries to write a message:

I want to make of my words an afirmation to Devrah's.
Yes. I have never met this boy before the day me, Sylathen and Stephen did. If someone must be inquired about his injuries, it must be Nariela Beaumont, who met him first, and Caitlin Fergus, who treated him; and I am sure the medico will be able to tell what caused the injuries very well.

Also, Sylathen, I am interested in your findings, since this matter and rumour, as many others, is making a disgrace of my name and consequently of the Guard. I look foward to meet you.

His right hand is tired. He drops the pen and sighs. Then after picking the pen, he only shakes his head and heads out of the shop.
