To all people of Gobaith,

It has been found by my staff of trusted astrologists, that the calendar that is used upon this isle incorrectly marks the amount of days in a year. As such, certain balances must be made.

To the month of Mas, 19 days will be added each year, marking each month as 24 days.

Lords and Ladies,

it came to my ears that some of you trust in the words of some crooks calling themselves scholars of timekeeping. Be careful with those who want to spread fear amongst our lands. The scary days of Mas won't be longer than five days, neither in the past, nor in the future.

Elder Damien and my person set it up in the early days based on studies of the wandering bard Nanuk. It divides time into years, one year for each cycle of seasons. A year itself is divided in 16 months, one for each god. Each month has 24 days except the Mas days which have just five days. Alltogether, you get the time it needs exactly from summer to summer.

If you add now 19 days to Mas, just remember what will happen. Besides that in some years, the Mas days will be in spring, summer or later in autumn, you will have 19 additional days of terror and fear. The days of Mas are cursed. Always remember that.

Come to the library of Troll's Bane if you are not sure. There is a flagstone in remembrance of our time. A gravure shows the notes of Nanuk, as well as the everlasting human calendar.
