How would you decide? - Crazy people...

Today I went through Trolls' Bane and saw some books (11 Cun magicbooks) that where laying on the ground. I picked them up and suddenly got insulted by 2 dwarfs and a hobbit. I first didn't know what was going on but then they told me that this were the books of them. I wanted to give them back and suddenly got attacked by the hobbit. After that they said that I have attacked the hobbit. But I have never attacked anything, my friends know that!! I wondered shortly and thought of not giving them back now. After a while I tried to talk to them, but it was nearly impossible because they were screaming and talking all together. After 2 Minutes they shot Icebolts at me and I could save myself ((logged out)) at the right moment. I came back ((logged in)) and ried to talk to them again. But a human named Fenrir Kriegswolf was there, too. He also tried to talk to them and failed. I explained that I didn't know this and that I wont give them back because I got hurt and insulted. He count down from 10 and at 0 he told the 3 to attack me. I luckyly had the chance to flee ((logged out)) before they killed me.
How would you decide? Was it right or wrong?

( ooc: Loging out is not a way to escape a conflict.
Lately, there was much trouble with logger thieves who behaved exactly THAT way. It seems like you made a very bad impression to the others.
I would suggest you approach Fenrir Kriegswolf to help you settling the conflict.

ah Melodia,now you know my life.I will tell you something.Something like that happens to me everyday.The other day A hobbit killed a new orc.and when i rand to kill him and walk the cloud to the cross the hobbit said i killed the orc and was attacking him for no reason and scrame help help!and another time there was a female and male dwarf.I walked up and there were blue flames litterally everywhere!I said which one of you did this! and the male dwarf said oh hush , you know you did it so stop trying to get us in trouble random caster! I was enraged at this remark for i had just arived and done not a thing.and then the girl dwarf sais I am calling the cops,before this orc casts anymore or hurts anypeople and than i said i am the cops!Well then the male dwarf looks over and sais ,"bad cop bad cop what cha' gonna do,what cha' gonna do when they come fore you!"I was so mad and to unleash my anger i said how about a dule lying dwarf(not the woman the man,i try not to fight women)and he sais no! the little chicken who lies and has enough guts to insult rhiko sais no! what a little chicken he can dish it but he cant' take it. if something happens to you like the hobbit case that melodia has sad ,then attack them back.i know the chickens to well and they will log out then and then give me there name and race,i will have them looked up and put a warant out for there arest and questioning so remember;Big jerks Big jerks,what cha' gonna do , what cha' gonna do when I come for you!(i know the dwarf thing was funny but in a way this is no laughing matter)!
