The death of Maj Sowle

Herewith I announce the death of Maj Sowle.


She has slain a young orc girl, chopping her arm off; attacked the captain of the town guard and died later in an act of defense as she attacked myself.

Her body got buried outside of town.

There are no words of justification which would sound right, since death never is right. I will not try to belittle the happening, nor will I apologise for how I or Gabon Corad acted.

If there are any family members or friends who want revenge on the girls death, I'm the one you search.
I take the full responsibility.

What happend though tragic was unfortunately unavoidable. Any grievance over the matter will be brought to me as it occured under my watch. Bailey performed her duty more than admirably, Gabon in turn acted as a friend to the town.
I will see no quarrel with either party that does not come through me.

Indeed, this is a tragedy for someone so young, though she always ran away convinced I wanted to eat her.

Firunja Winterkalt was in the depot when she recognized that there is something wrong with Marie Tolong.

Marie told Firunja about Maj Sowle and that she thought that Maj should have been burried in her home - Varshikar.

Firunja made a proposal to fullfill an old ritual.
And so they two went to the grave of Maj togehter with Nialandra and Berengar who joined the funeral march.


At the grave Firunja held this old ritual and prayed that the essence of Maj would go into a coin Firunja throwed into a fire they lit.

After the ritual Marie and Firunja marched with the coin over the mountains and through the desert to Varshikar - Maj's home.

There they burried the coin together with Jeremy and Fooser under the appletree near the sheep-pen.

Maj Sowle has arrived her home after her last journey.
May she be happy where she now walks...
