Greetings, fellow townsmen and women!
As some of you might know I have decided to put my life into the hands of the glorious god Zhambra. Hail to the god of friendship and loyality!
I searched throughout Illarion to find anwsers to my many questions, but I found noone who could anwser them all. Finally, after long talks with Shi Long and hours spent in the Library, I stumbled upon an old tome, which had been hidden from me until then. The moment I saw it's leather outside, covered with golden ancient runes, I knew I was holding something special in my hands. With the help of Shi Long I was able to decipher some of the ancient language in which it was written, but not all of it, by far not all. What I could understand deeply impressed me. It talked of religious people in the age of Concord, of their extraordinary faith, of how, through their belief, the gods lived in them and changed their lives. This book has changed my life forever, and it has left me with a fire burning in my soul, which can purify, but which now slowly burns me from the inside, eating me alive. I have to find anwsers to find peace.
So I have decided: As the prophet whom they called Nuir Aerlinn, a simple man who sought the ultimate spiritual closeness with the gods, I shall now depart, for how long I may not say, and I shall seek and find the anwsers I need, or I shall perish in the attempt.
Tomorrow, when the sunlight kisses the eastern shore for the first time in the day, I shall depart. I shall take none with me, but my boat and my faith. I lay down my life at Zhambra's feet - if it is his wish that I survive and understand, he will feed my body and my soul. If he wishes not, my life here has no sense left.
Pray for me, my brothers and sisters. Pray, this is all I ask for. May my mission succeed and bring joy and revelation to all who have faith in their hearts. For if I, an Ork, a child of Moshran, shall stand before Zhambra and be accepted, this shall be a sign. A sign of love, a sign of equalness of the races. Pray, thus. And should I fail, then for the last time I bless you now: "May Zhambra protect this blessed land, and it's inhabitants. Live in peace, my brothers and sisters."
