Yeah, I think it's a good thing, too. Basically it is the reason I joined here. Of course I didn't like waiting for admission, but I have no better idea on how to ensure a minimum understanding of players.

The only thing really annoying was having to wait again for the character name.

I don't have a problem with it. They're pretty lenient wih it anyway, as long as you have some grasp of either German or English, and your story makes any sort of sense, they ususally give you a chance, I believe. It's just to ensure that we don't have all the "DarkLordMegaBit999" people trying to make the game hack-and-slash

i start to head towards the murmuring,and then i start yell at the voice that havin to write this sentence write now is a waste of my time and the company, or makers of this game shud take this out so people can get into playing the game a whole lot faster, but if we had to still write this sentence thing you should have the people make it as long as they want and not how ever long you guys want it to be. after writeing all this shit this game better be worth this writing. i then walk away from the voice and go to the tavern were i spend all my gold nuggets on ale after having to write this stupid as paragraph. i then walk home to my very hot bitch who i then smile ontil the sun rises again and i have to go bak to diging in the mines for my gold nuggets to spend on more ale.

@cooldue1009 I know the application is a bit of a struggle. But believe me if the effort of doing it right is too much.....You're really going to hate this game. If your looking for instant gratification stat fest action, with plenty plenty PK, Illa is not for you. Illa is soo complex it's beyond me a lot of the time. But it grows as you do. It's not about being the best it's about being someone. Perhaps only a bit player in someone elses play. You can find much better descriptions of what it's like by others on the forum. I hope you do decide to put in the effort and join us. I hope I meet you ingame and we both learn something new.

While, "cooldude" may at first appear to be an unattractive prospect for Illarion, he deserves a chance to play as much as any other player. As long as he passes the application, he's free to enter Illarion and learn and develop a roleplaying skill.

An interesting side-note. A player who is often considered one of the all-time greats, Korwin, started out with a character called Korn Muphin Two. Give "cooldude" a chance and he may surprise all of you.
