Was ist los mit euch? Die letzte Ratssitzung war ein Desaster! Außer Pendar, Kommandant der Stadtwache und mir war nur eine einzige stimmberechtige Bürgerin - Bailey - anwesend (plus einige Gäste aus Varshikar). Seit Monaten geht dies nun so!

Ihr habt heute mehr Rechte und Einfluß als jemals zuvor, so wie ihr es immer gewollt habt. Doch seid ihr nicht im Stande dies auch nur in geringster Weise zu nutzen! Ihr tut es einfach nicht! Warum nur?

Ich bin es leid an jeder diplomatischen Baustelle das Zugpferd für euch sein zu müssen und das für eine Bande von nimmersatten und nie zufriedenen "Bürgern", die eh kein Interesse an der Zukunft Troll`s Banes haben.

Ich sehe keine Motivation und keine Eifer mehr in euch! Ihr habt keine Ziele mehr und wenn doch, dann behaltet ihr sie für euch, anstatt sie in der Stadt zur Diskussion zu bringen und sie hier in unserer Stadt verwirklichen zu wollen.

Und wehe es wagt eine einzelne Person zuviel für euch zu arbeiten! Von Tyrannen sprecht ihr dann in eurer Paranoia, dieser jener könnte nicht für euch, sondern gegen euch arbeiten, von einem Diktator, den ihr nicht wollt

Ich rate euch, Bürger von Troll`s Bane, ändert eure Ansichten und arbeitet an der Gestaltung unserer gemeinsamen Stadt mit, bevor ich in Gebrauch unserer Gesetze und in allgemeiner Abwesenheit von euch, den großartigen Bürgern, die Bürgerliste kürze und die Stadttore vor euch schließen lasse oder ich von euch verabschieden werde, auf dass ihr allein in eurer Anarchie zurecht kommt!

What is wrong with you? The last meeting of the Town Council was a desaster! Only Pendar, head of the Town Guard, me and one registered citizen with the right to vote - Bailey - were part of the meeting (plus some guests of Varshikar). Since months we have the same situation!

Today you have more rights and influence, like you wanted, than in any time before. But you are not able to use this power in any unimportant case. You do not use your rights! But why?

I am tired to be the cart horse in any diplomatic jobs for a mob of citizens who never can get enough, who can be satisfied, who have no interest in the future of Troll`s Bane.

I see no motivation, no alacrity! You have no aims or do not speak about them. They are not part of a public discussion.

But, oh, noone should work too much for you! In your paranoia he could become a tyrann, who works against you. He could become a dictator you do not want.

I want to give you an advice. Change your mind and work together for our town. Do that before i cut our list of your citizenship and close the gates in use of our laws and in the typical absence of you, our glory citizens. Do that before i left you, so that you can rule your town yourself with anarchy!

Citizens of Trollsbane
Brothers and sisters, for indeed that is what we are those of us who have stepped up and said count my fate tied to this great and noble town. When I accepted the position of captain I did not just place my name on a list in big letters, no instead I offered my blood and heart to the very stones of the street we walk upon. It is to men and women who felt a similar pledge when they signed there names I now call upon, those among us with the strength of spirit to know they not only have something to offer but wish there time with in our walls upon this isle to leave its mark. We are all of us blessed with a rare time a time of peace and tranquility on this island. Either we shall simply sleep these gentle days away or friends stand up and build something in the time the gods have blessed us with or we shall take this time and build with it. I see a city built on community were all may live in peace and prosperity how ever this dream cannot be built by a handful of people.
We have slumbered enough through peaceful days as the cold leaves our island so the fire must return to our blood.
I care not if you have been a citizen for years or would now think of joining us if you wish to build something that shines with us now is the time to step forward and be counted.

Childish tantrums in public help noone. Instead of going into an infantile rage about the lack of participation in your so-called "town meetings", you should have tried to analyze carefully why noone ever comes to your meetings.

You complain about the people of this town not speaking out. The truth is the people of this town have spoken loud and clear, but it is you who have not listened. The fact that the people of this town have boycotted your town meetings time after time should send strong signals to all but the most egotistical of fools. Allow me to clarify for your lazy ears.

Noone wants your faulty, crack-brained leadership! Noone cares about your little citizenship lists! Noone feels the least disposed towards your petty laws!

Whoever you are, dear unknown writer, I would suggest not to write such rabble rousing notes when you have not the slightest idea of the current governmental system within the town of Troll's Bane.
Or you obvoiusly lack the insight to know why a large social system such as our needs at least basic structuring to work in the greater political image of our world. What does Troll's Bane be? Who does represent the society in times of need? Such things need to be organized. I have seen the attempts of doing such an organisation only when need arises, and honestly, the result was mostly just a chaotic mess.
Do you even know what is going on in town at the moment? Do you know what a town council meeting means? Do you have the slightest clue of what Lennier is doing for our people?
Answer these questions for yourself. Then reconsider your opinion for a moment and you will see that your agitation is not only lacking any reason, it is also absolutely counter-productive.

First off, I would like to say that I have only recently entered these lands. It would be quite probable that I would have participated had I been there and able to.

To ye, Conscience, how dare you stench this place? If you care not about this, then say so in simple words. YOU are the one who his being childish. I feel that the people truely do care, but perhaps were busy with something, or perhaps were sleeping... There are little means of something to wake you up, other than your own self.

How does one go about gaining citizenship here? And are there any terms of agreement that should be known? I would like to participate in such events, but know that I am not always awake, and if you do not speak of a meeting ahead of time I might not be able to make it there. Lately, I've been exploring with some friends.

And what party are you asking of? Trollsbane citizens, right?
