I just have a few questions...

Post by Cairyn »

1a) When roleplaying I should use present tense right??
1b) When roleplaying I should use 3 person right?
For example :
#me staggers away from the bar, supporting herself on the tables and chairs she passes.
That would be correct, right?

2) About how long does it take for my account to be accepted, or regected??

I think thats all my questions for now, and thanks for reading this far :D

Do you talk to other people normally in 3rd person? Probobly not, 1st person is probobly best. Your acting as if you accually were this person, not some omnipotent being looking down and telling his/her story.

Use 1st person to indicate personal experience, evaluation, and/or opinion.
first person
n.
The grammatical category of forms that designate a speaker or writer referring to himself or herself.

You can speak, just type text and hit enter. example: Greetings
"name says: Greetings" Can be heard by anyone on the screen
whisper, type #w what you want to say ,enter example: #w that woman sure is ugly
"name whispers : that woman sure is ugly (can only be heard people next to you or 1 block away, no others can hear it)
shout, type #s what you want to say, enter example: #s selling apples
"name shouts : selling apples" Can be heard for a ways (not sure exactly)
action, #me action, enter example: #me eats an apple
this will show up as "name eats an apple." Can be seen only by people in screen like talking.

Yes, direct speach in 1st person ("My name is Hannes"), emotes in 3rd person ("#me laughs out loud").

Usually, it takes less than 3 days for an account to be accepted / rejected. Your account is in the next batch among 11 other applications. You will receive an (short) email whether we liked your application or not soon.

How much people can hear you also depends on the perception skill of the receiver
