99% of Chinese people would be able to roll those r's perfectly with no problem at all. This is because 99% can speak the official Chinese language of Mandarin, which has many rolling r sounds. Actually for some of the r sounds in the Chinese language, I think you would be the one who would have trouble pronouncing.
Two very different kinds of R's. They somehow seem to be the same, but somehow, there's still some strange reason that a huge percentage of Chinese can only say.... "Oh, I am solly" =D . On the other hand, I am still always laughing when I try to teach non-Chinese people how to pronounce mandarin words that have the mandarin "rrr" sound

.
Chinese lesson

?
For example...
日 - "sun; day (calendar)"
Chinese "PinYin" (Roman letter spelling) -
Ri
Actuall pronunciation as close as De'am can try to get it: Like if one was to pronounce "errrm..." (symbolic onomotapoeia on internet of uncertainty), but without the "e" or the "m"
Then there's one of the four vocal inflection of Mandarin that you have to put into it, which I won't even begin to explain XD .
Solly zat is not I can help

.
(Did I ever mention I'm really, really glad I didn't learned to speak English the way my parents pronounce it? -_-;; Though it's always hilarious listening to my father trying to pronounce "southern". I'm so mean (^^). )
