A few things i was wondering about

Post by Llama »

1) Can you leave sacrifices to the gods?

[if yes see 1a, if not see 1b]

1a) Do you get anything in return? ever?

1b) What are altars used for?

2) Is there a use for combs other than RP combing your hair?

3) Is there anything you can smoke in a pipe?

4) Do skills drain away with time or something?

1- At the moment, you can leave a sacrifice at the altar for pure roleplay reasons. If you wish to organise something quest-wise with a GM, we'd happily oblige if it's suitable.

Altars have only a purely roleplay use at the moment.

2- Combs are good for combing roleplayed hair. ;)

3- You can roleplay stuffing some sibanac down it.

They're just nice roleplay tools-luxuries.

4- I believe that they decrease upon death, but I think Estralis might be able to clarify this better.

Me?!
Skills do not drain if you don't use them. However, if your char gets killed, he/she looses some of his/her skills. The loss is not great, but it is still a loss. The longer your char is a cloud, the more skill he/she looses.

Isn't this a very unfair thing on such a huge isle where you can find just two crosses? if you are lucky.

I thought on the rlmeeting we disussed alot of solutions for this because we mostly agreed that this is no fitting situation. as far as i know it was planed to deactivate the skillloss until something better is implented. right?

so why wans't it done?

Those are just wooden shovels, not heads, they are complete the way they are.

8) Is there a limit to the 'tiredness' thing? or can you keep on working so much you need a few days to recover? or if you spend a few hours doing nothing you can go straght to work?

9) Sawing branches off trees is lumberjacking or carpentry?

10) re quality of goods.. is there anything better than "excellent"? "Perfect"??? what do better quality things do? do they make better quality items? or take longer to break?

11) Does skill increase during combat depend on how much attacks you make? or how much damage you do? In otherwords... do slower weapons with high damage increase skill slower?
