buying and selling

I am new (hence the reason i am on the NEWBIES board) and in the game i cant by or sell. It's begining to annoy me please help and yes i have read this part of the manual.

I'm sorry for any misspelling

that's exactly your problem: you have to spel correctly AND you have to have money to buy things.

First...you need money to buy something.

Second to buy something you have to say to the merchant i want to buy (one or more) items.

the same to sell something. Hope this will help you

Sooo, pardon me if I sound dense, but to sell things to a merchant, you litterally "talk" to them?
How does the merchant know you are talking to them?

You look at them and talk? They will only respond if you are next to or 1 square away from them.

The merchant does not know that you are talking to them, they know that you are saying certain keywords on which they react. So do not wonder if every NPC within range greets you when you are greeting someone else.

lool, I remember....

Don't stay in front of a NPC and talk to other charakters. He finds the keyword and will act, e.g.:

You: Be greeted [...] I need an axe [...]
XY: [..] ? cooper for one [...]
You: Allright, I want to buy one axe
NPC: You want to buy one axe [...] ? cooper (mostly higher then the charakters costs)

I think, you understand what I mean *ggg*
