Phantoms - strange occurances around town....

It was two evenings ago. A group of others and I were standing near the cross. Then all of the sudden, out of nowhere, a phantom appeared, and followed us where we moved. With the slice of a sword, the phantom was no more.

Perhaps a misguided evil spirit that was awaken? Or perhaps it was angry because Drakhen had died earlier?

I have seen these before, but only when Drakhen or Ashkatuul were about, whic points me to my theory, evil spirits, somehow brought into this realm.

please elaborate on your discovery! I have dreamed of many spirits but have never seen them. #me walks away like he is not bothered, then hides in a corner and prays no spirits come near him.....

Most likely, they are simply evil minions brought by summoners or necromancers with the purpose of terrorizing the townsfolk, or a new one testing his powers.

Another possiblity is that one of the magic clouds used at the Academy got out of control, but that's more than unlikely.

I have also seen these, and I would like to classify them as:
Lost Spirits
These cannot be helped, and many waste magic trying to resurrect them.
They follow you, but just are nuisances.

Hello it is I rhiko,
I have seen thease many a time (not many but 2 times) well,Many have told me that they are spirits Drahken takes out of Hell when he comes back and leaves them to wander around until someone sends them back so please kill them the minute you seeee them ok

I have never seen one become violent, only a nuissance. I have seen quite a few of them, but mostly when Drakhen or Ashkatuul attacks, which does point to them being summoned by evil necromancers. Or perhaps they are the academy tests subjects taking their revenge... :biggrin:

Today again the phantoms struck! After I was paralyzing Drakhen and Dyluck (I think) killed him, one of these phantoms appeared beside me. I took it back to town for analysis, but Damien killed it with some fancy fireworks before we got into real study :biggrin: , but we did note that it did not have a sign on it "Property of the MAGIC ACADEMY", so i guess that rules Dyluck's second theory out, since we all know of his infamous "Cloud Closet" :biggrin:
