The City itself

Post by Llama »

Could we please increase the size of the city, and fill it with buildings? similar to that of UO???? it will make more RP sense that way, with blacksmith NPCS selling blacksmith stuff ect...

I know it is a little too much work... but it'll make more Sense IMHO...

In TRollbane itself, there is only one NPC [eliza], who seems to stock just one type of item (for warefare)... and the Mugish who sells few items

Um trollsbane has 2 npc

And out of all those buildings how many do you visit? 3 right Library, Tavern and Shop if that. Why get more when some are not even being used

It's not even a city. It's a town. And we don't really want it to be bigger. There are other towns and villages to visit too.

Ask the elected/installed/imposed goverment of Trollsbane to create a cashflow that allows them to buy more buildings.

In general, each house, that is not part of a quest or 'basic infrastructure', has to be bought by players.

And remove these caps please, I am neither blind, nor deaf.

Plus: There were many more buildings over the much smaller island in the last client and map. They were not used (alot of the people who built them grew inactive from the game), and everybody riddled about their origin, meaning, names, and so on.

If you want a city, you have to invest in-game time and resources to build it.
Contact a GM for more information on this, but I'd recommend playing a bit more and longer and getting to know most things first.

Well, maybe we will have more NPCs one day. And the one or the other new building. But not tomorrow.

And your shift key is broken... AGAIN!

Basicly there are "only" guild buildings.
Whenever a guild reaches a specific number of members, and has collected a healthy bunch of ressource and of course has thier treassure chambers filled with gold to the top, they can hand over thier richness to a GM (who cruely just deletes these useless items) and afterwards this guild has obtained the right to build something.

This really can be just anything a road from A to B, a house to live in, a temple to celebrate your characters religion, a farm, an obscure object that not even your character knows why he ever decided to build such crap, but I still advise everyone to ask a GM first if thier plans of a building fits into the concept of thier desired location.

Sometimes there are plans for this region and your idea would create an conflict.
Or you are asking for "stupid" things, like building a farm ontop of a mountain area.

Why not use the money to lower the prices in the shops?

Because shop prizes are no elitery status symbol of the wealth of your guild ?

Because guilds would be stupid to restrict their profits by supporting other merchants?
