Question - Mortar/Grain

Hello. I have searched the forums and could not find an answer to this, but I apologize if it is already there and I just did not find it...

I have a mortar and grain, and I have been trying to turn the grain into flour...I thought you were supposed to use a mortar for this, am I wrong? I've tried with the mortar in hand, grain in belt, and vice versa. What am I doing wrong?

No Arynne, you have to use a millstone, they can be found about town.

EDIT: I have to stop asking things like this in-game. My characters are all retards.
