The captain told Aristeaus everything he knew about this land. He named some mountains and rivers, as well as he told him a bit of the history and that not far from the harbour a town would be where currently an epidemic would go around and that he should better avoid this place.
Ysgar spreaded his wings and flew away from Aristeaus shoulder, crowing and obviously trying to show him the way.

Watching the strange crow fly into the wind Aristeaus pulled his cloak tightly about him and with a nod to the captain walked from the ship.
Taking the surroundings in as he walked the man's eyes followed the crow and ultimately his destination.
Pendar had mentioned a plague, as had the captain of the ship..
The town is likely where Caitlin would be..
Follow the buzzard..
These and many other thoughts went through the mans mind as the bird led him upon a trip which would likely end in pain.

The captain shook his head about the man who was following the bird, right into the direction of the cursed place.
It was quite a long walk and though Ysgar tried to hurry he always waited for Aristeaus to follow and also did breaks when he saw that the man needed one.
The crow wondered if Caitlin would be still in the forest… alive she was for sure, he didn’t know if someone may had searched for her.
A few hour passed by and as the cursed town could be seen near by the crow sat himself on a branch and as Aristeaus wanted to head on on this path he crowed.
Then he led the men into the forest.
After a while they finally reached the certain place… but what a sight…
Caitlin lay on the ground next to the tree she leaned before, but the tree was fully dried up and lost all his leaves… obvisously it died away.
And also every single blade of grass near Caitlin was withered … like all the energy has been vanished… or soaked up.
The lady on the ground was very pale and unconscious, but breathing. Her lips were stained with blood and instead of having fever, she felt cold. But she was alive.

Seeing the lady upon the ground Aristeaus runs forward, taking the ladies wrist in his hand he knells before her.
'Cold, so cold'
Looking about himself for the first time, Aristeaus see's the withered surroundings. Strange..
'Caitlin, Caitlin its me Aris.'
Releasing her wrist the man stands and looks to the tree which she lays before. Nature itself fades as does the lady which guards it. Unclipping his cloak Aris lays it upon the lady. What magic works here, i came prepared for illness, but i find this. Placing his hand to his side the man's finger tips curl about the ornate hilt of his blade. Firstly warmth. The mans grip tightens and he spins in a fluid motion, his arm raising as if to greet another, A glint shines upon the upheld blade which now is held within the mans hand, the peace disturbed by the falling limb of the withered tree. And the circle of life continues.
His sword once more at his side, and with the withered branch broken down to manageable peices Aristeaus sets up a fire near to the lady. With the flames flickering and the warmth radiating from its presence Aristeaus removes the box which he collected from the northern castle, and working from the light of the flames he removes the various components placing them upon the ground before him, and with the patience born from countless hours practice begins to place small amounts of various herbs into a glass container which he then places close to the fire.
A mixture which strengthens the heart. But which could easily stop it.
The man sighs and watches the lady as he awaits for the heat of the fire to brew the liquid.

The man looks to lady and a smile creeps across his usually stern features.
Its good to have you back Caitlin
Reaching within his cloak, he withdraws a small vial containing a mild toxin which would bring her under a light sleep.
Here drink this Cait, it will ease the pain
Removing the small stopper he passes the vial to the lady.

Through the vial Caitlin felt in a slight but very long sleep. Her body had a lot things to made up again.
Sometimes she opened her eyes, looked around or tried to concentrate on the conversations she was hearing but she barely could remember anything. She remembered that she has been carred by Aristeaus... she remembered Gwihens face and that both talked to each other.
She heard something like, that the plague was gone from the town, and though of the deads it was a good success.
As she really woke up from her delirium she recognized that she was on a ship. Caitlin felt the waves on which the ship was moving and heard the brawling of the sea. How long did she sleep?
Next to her sat Gwihen, watching over and smiling in a concerned way.
"Good morning, Caitlin. I'm sure you are hungry, aren't you?"
