When will carpentry work, all I can make now is logs

You should probably ask in-game (Not that you can at the moment...heh) but I'll give you a start. Get a saw, and you can turn the logs into boards.

I think you need carving tools to make something out of the wooden boards (Look at "martin's" thread in the general forum to see how to make them)

This is not something to ask ingame, this is a technical question about carpentry and how all you can make is boards. Even if you already have boards

You need, like we always handle that, a certain tool to produce something out of boards. And you need a certain tool to produce something out of branches. And both works.

Very easy:

Ingame: in game and in the forum(rpg-boards and guild-boards)

out of game: everywhere else, including every forum-board, except of the two named above.

@Falk: Maybe you should add a small hint how this tool can be obtained. It is craftable, isn't it?

It is craftable, of course.

You can use carving tools, saw, plane or anything like that.

Just play around.

smal hint:

both tools are craftable

my advice: go and buy a plane, a wood carving knife (whittle), some apple-pie and a rocking-chair for the time after work...

Then take the plane or the whittle in one hand, the apple-pie in your other, clamp a board or a branch between your knees (or simply put them in your belt), use the tool and eat the cake (never muddle that !)

DO NOT USE THE TOOL IN YOUR HAND WITH THE BOARDS !!!

If it still does not work, use a traidor and become a fighter for you do not seem to have the skills and abilities as a manufacturer...

Wait you can just get branches off a tree in-game? I thought only logs were obtainable from trees, how would you get a branch? Or is this just something new?
